I've always had a fantastic time here. It's a comfortable and intimate space, the wine is amazing, and the person behind the counter is incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiasticly helpful. I always recommend this place for celebrating anniversaries or birthdays, it's perfect for having a really spectacular glass or two of champagne to celebrate. It's a small place so I don't recommend more than four people in a group, though the space can accommodate probably 15 people at a time. If you went when it was very quiet you could probably take the place over with a larger group.

If you like Champagne (and who doesn't???), this is a great spot. It is small and cozy and on busier nights can fill up quickly. The list is amazing and the owner, David, always has a few interesting selections by the glass as well as a thorough bottle list. The markup is reasonable and the glass selections are priced better than what one would pay for Veuve yellow label at a chain restaurant. Overall I highly recommend this hip, Champagne focused wine bar.

Good selection & reasonably priced. Very small space with really high ceilings & very low chairs... I would give it 5 stars IF it was slightly different ambiance, had a bigger selection (which may not be fair bc that night, they were out of 2 of the 5 BTG), & offered flights or 1/2 pours. I wanted to have a flight of everything they were pouring, but I was denied that pleasure. Also, what distinguishes a good wine bar is tasting. I wasn't even allowed to taste to approve. You get what you order. No room for curiosity or education. Just be simple, elegant...& get sloshed?

petit, warm, at the bar or table, the rare intimate find, that is not self-conscious itself, it is a great place for a conversation, a pre-function, a cocktail, or late night easy moment to be appropriately quiet. the champagne list is about 100 labels deep, rich in small producers and a owner, David, who is very accomplished and substantive at guiding you through it. the fun is in "asking".
