Ben & Jerry's

You've seen it in grocery stores and probably tried one of their multitude of creative flavors with clever names. I'm a big fan of the brand, so anytime I have the opportunity to visit a retail store, I pounce on the opportunity. This store is conveniently located with ample parking, making it a great spot to get your sweet tooth fix. It's not the cleanest inside, but it's presentable. Overall, it's nice getting to see the full array of flavors, although you do pay a premium vs buying a pint at the grocery store. It's a cool company though, so I don't mind it.

On our most recent trip to Portland, we stopped at Ben and Jerry's for a quick ice-cream pause. The counter worker, Bri, was very kind and patient with our indecisive kiddos, and was super helpful by giving us suggestions of places to check out on our visit. We appreciate the hospitality. Thank you Bri for the tasty, tasty ice cream, the demonstration of making waffle cones, and kindness. You rock! :-)

The staff was really nice. We popped in to try the new vegan flavors and they were delicious. Besides the two they had for scoops, they carried 7-9 flavors in prepack containers. For anyone who have not tried the vegan ones - they are similar to ice milk or light ice cream. I never liked how heavy ice cream sometimes could be so this is perfection. Try it!
