Taste Tickler

Oh man oh man! First time here, we tried the Bulgogi and the Famous Tickler and they were both delicious! They have very limited seating outside and I cant recall seeing any inside. It’s a small corner shop but they do have parking, which is always appreciated! We waited about 20 minutes for our food and other than a flat Dr Pepper, everything was good. 10/10 recommend

Sandwiches: BOMB👌 Ingredients: BOMB 👌 Presentation: FABULOUSLY BEAUTIFUL Just the looks of it just satisfied me and I have cried out on the first bite. This is my 3rd time going here and still pops off all my expectations with flying colors. Every option is Good and I can just order anything knowing it’s the best for you buck. First timers I recommend the teriyaki chicken sandwich.

Enjoyed the sandwich! I got the ABT & hubby got the famous tickler. The 7” was the perfect portion for one person. It was busy for a Thursday afternoon which is always promising, we waited about 15 minutes for the order. My only complaint is the bread was pretty chewy & it takes a little work to pull off a bite. Also with how generous the portions of meat & condiments are this bread didn’t hold it all together, it was falling out with every bite I took. Despite the bread I can say I will be back in the future! The shop is small (no indoor seating) & is quirky with an old school touch. It is located on a corner street & if you didn’t see a bunch of people waiting outside you could walk right by & miss it. Definitely worth checking out!

Taste Tickler is a Portland treasure! I've been going to this place for many years, and every single time I'm completely blown away with how delicious their sandwiches are! They are hefty, full of flavor, and will leave you satisfied! You can't go wrong with the Famous Tickler! My special treat is drizzling some house-made teriyaki sauce all over it. Mmm.

Great sub!!!!! I ordered turkey and provolone and it was delicious. I found this place through other reviews, and it seems to be very popular as take out for lunch. There were a few tables outside on the sidewalk and none inside. The door to get into the place is short, we had to duck our heads. It's literally a hole in the wall place. The inside is dingy and unorganized and I was happy to duck back outside to wait for our order. It has high reviews for the good food, not the atmosphere.
