Happy hour 2-6pm, order at the bar, they will serve to your table after. Really good Mexican place, authentic or not I am not very sure because they serve rice in their tacos, but their guacamole and chips here are really good. Serves a good range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well. Beers are at $3.75 during happy hours.

Tasty food with quick service. We had the chip's, salsa and guacamole as a starter which was delicious. I had the mole sampler which was great. AC works great and dinning room is spacious with lots of windows. **Update** second time eating here and once again great food and service.

Perfect Mexican food restaurant in NW portland in my opinion. A no frills place serving authentic mexican fare in hearty portions, everything is freshly made and there is a huge variety for all taste palettes. The food is fresh and light, no unnecessary dumping of cheese and sauces. I tried the chicken tinga taco, tamales and garbacha bowl and it was all wonderful. A unique must-try item here is the butter nut squash filling with black sauce and chocolate. You can choose it with tacos, burritos, bowls etc. The vibes are super chill, pay first and then sit and relax, no one bothers you at all. The music is mellow , perfect for conversations. Highly recommended.

This is hearty Mexican fare. We ordered at the counter, went to the bar to pick up drinks and our meals were delivered to the table. I had the Yucatan pork platter. There's a good selection of beers, an ample menu, and good seating areas, inside and out. The staff is very friendly and helpful, There was a steady stream of diners. We like eating at the restaurant but there were lots of people coming to pickup meals.

First visit today.. Pulled up Google reviews and this look like a good choice. Glad I did! This is possibly the most authentic Mexican food I have had in Portland.. The atmosphere is clean, casual and spacious. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and I found out that they can accommodate groups from especially when outdoor seating is utilized in the warmer season. I will come again! PS I just wanted something small as I was not that hungry and this massive bean rice and cheese burrito was the smallest thing they had! (for less than $5) Yum!

Affordable, delicious Mexican restaurant with good food and cocktails. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, and the mole itself is excellent! Definitely recommend for anyone going through the neighborhood.

Yes! Muy Autentico! Great service yummy food. Their forte is the fresh made corn tortillas (made on site) and their meats which are smothered in flavorful sauces. I chose to create my own taco sampler and it did not disappoint! Giant cheese quesadillas made with their fresh corn tortillas were also amazing!

This place is the best Mexican restaurant in Portland. It's totally laid back and the food is delicious. The bartender walked us through all the options, which helped us a lot. We tried the mole sampler and two different types of tamales. It was fantastic!

The food here is excellent!! The moles are amazing. Definitely come here for the weekday specials. Also when I was leaving I forgot my to go container. Unfortunately they threw it out a few seconds after we left but the dude working hooked me up with a replacement when I came back in. It was just chips and a few beans but it was an awesome gesture.

I was looking for a Mexican food restaurant to take my friend from out of town who was craving Mexican food, as well as a place safe for a celiac, and this place came to the top of the list. Delicious comfort food and great sauces, though sparse on vegetables if you’re hoping for a more balanced meal. It was also a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Recommend!!
