Le Happy

This place was AMAZING! I’m not usually a huge fan of crepes, but they do it incredibly well. Haven’t been this impressed by trying a new place in a while. I got the coconut one (can’t recall menu name) with fresh strawberries added. The house made coconut cream was the highlight, could lick the whole plate.

Le Happy is a place that feels European in the middle of Portland. The inside has rich dark colors, cute artsy paintings and decorations and the mirror disco ball is their cornerstone decoration. The environment is welcoming because it is small and intimate and feels comfortable inside. The crepes are delicious. Both the savory and sweet crepes are a must. They have a happy hour that offers some discounts on drinks and food. They have a unique cocktail menu and the drinks are good and priced not too expensive. The staff are friendly and the service is good. The bathrooms are a little outdated but not unkempt - it's downtown Portland and the building is old, not a big deal. We've eaten there a few times and we have enjoyed the food. We will go back for sure.

Good on all points! Crepe was tasty and well portioned. Servers are busy trying to keep up with demand and might be a bit slow if they are packed, but they get a bonus 2 stars for chasing me down to give me back my forgotten card. This is not a place for those with a big appetite or food allergies, but I found the portions and prices good. Will definitely be coming back with company.

My grand kids and I love coming here. This place is clean food is great prepared by chef Juan who does an excellent job making crepes. Service is always outstanding, food is fresh and made to order. When I come to visit from California this is my go to place for crepes. If you haven't visited Le Happy I would advise you to go, you won't be sorry.
