This is one of our favorite places to eat in town (helps that it is near our house). Delicious, delicious veggies, she also does great meats but the veggies are what keep us coming back. Wine of course is fantastic. Highly recommend doing a chef's tasting menu!

We stopped here after dinner at Cibo next door. It was a busy Saturday night, sat at bar too, which is our preference anyway. Staff where friendly, but also they seemed busy most of the night, took awhile to get orders in and food out. Totally recommend the deviled eggs, they’re made with cream cheese and are exactly what smooth, creamy deviled eggs should be. We especially liked the ones with the Parmesan crisp topper. Loved them so much we ordered a second round. Wine options where plentiful and varied. Totally worth trying. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for 🤷🏻‍♀️🍷🥚

We came here for my mom’s birthday and everyone had an amazing time. I confess I’m not much of a wine drinker, but the food here is so so good. Our party was all vegetarian with one person who had a gluten allergy, but Oui accommodated all of our requests and created a special menu just for us. Thank you for such a wonderful experience, we will be back!

I'm more of a cocktail person but came here last night for dinner at my friend's request. I loved the ambience, the service, and the delicious combination of flavors and textures coming out of the kitchen. Look forward to my next visit!

The glowing Yelp reviews and photos led to Oui, and I am so glad they did. It was a Thursday evening around 6:30 and I had just landed at PDX. I was craving a yummy salad and a cocktail or wine. With such a carefully curated wine list I had to opt for a glass of wine. My tastes veer more towards the obscure, grassy, dry, high acid whites. With this instruction, I was given a solid pour of savignon Blanc ($16). Now that the all important libation was sitting in front of me, all I had to do was get some food in my belly. I ordered the kale salad ($14) Holy cow, what a kale salad, unlike any other. Shaved shredded strings of kale, with gems of goat cheese, currants, beets and an acidic orange flavored dressing, topped by tiny petals of edible flowers. I'd go back this afternoon for that salad. Not only was every bite delicious, but also beautiful. I told my waitress and she proudly added, "all of our food is a work of art!" I couldn't agree more. The interior ambiance is a cross between intimate with cozy corners and a sleek industrial feel bar. A large long window separates the interior restaurant from the cellar where they host private events and tours. There are a few metal tables and chairs outside which I passed on since they didn't appear too comfortable. Owner Tom, and waitress Shauna (sp?) were warm and welcoming. They spent some time chatting with me at the bar about wine while I was between bites of that incredible salad. Thanks so much to Oui, for starting my weekend in Portland off right!

The annual Memorial Day weekend wine tasting at Southeast Wine Collective is not to be missed! I mean, unlimited sampling of some of the finest Oregon wines; how can you go wrong? Okay, fine, I was cut off (politely with a smile) after my fourth sample of a Cabernet Sauvignon, but only because she was down to her last bottle. And the ambiance is equally great - stacked barrels everywhere. Everyone becomes very friendly after about the first 10 minutes. Highly recommend.

The servers are super nice, attentive and give a nice description of the food and wine. The interior is cozy and nicely designed. Food is honestly very good, great local wine selection. My only complaint would be how salty the 3-5 courses on our tasting menu were. Good value on their tasting menu.

This is a real find. Tiny place, with fantastic food and beautiful wine pairings. Five-course chef's-tasting, family style, for $39 a person! The food is balanced, very well seasoned, and has rich textures; its fresh, youthful flavors are very well matched by the wine pairings (definitely go with the "extraordinary" set). Favorites: smoked trout rillette with picked vegetables and chips; wonderful warm bread with maple-sweetened butter; rye spätzle with Gruyere and onions & breadcrumbs. Dessert was less subtle and balanced — gingerbread shortbread was excellent, but the chocolate pot de creme was too heavily spiced, and instead of overly rich meringue, a simple whipped cream would have been better. But that didn't mar the overall impression of a very talented chef with no pretensions, simply good food, good value, and dynamite wine.

I have been a huge fan of this place for four years now. I live nearby so it’s easy to drop in and find a seat. On warm summer nights (and cold rainy ones too) it’s a great place to find sanctuary, and because of the sweet aesthetic they’ve built and the incredible food and wine...it can be busy! The food is always changing and is excellent. I’m consistently thankful for this place. My advice is to call ahead to see what the wait time is and if they are hosting a private event.
