I HIGHLY RECOMMMEN VADA PAV!! Vada Pav here is by far the best I have ever had!! I might be forgetting, but I don’t remember having such a great vada pav even in India. I have been eating at least one vada pav every time I visit either of Bollywood Theater locations since 2019 and the taste has been consistently great. It has improved over time if anything at all. My wife loves Pav Bhaji also here. Other than Vada Pav, I recommend Paneer Kathi roll and chai! Excellent ambiance and amazing service.

One of my favorite spots in Portland to date! Come here to share a few dishes with friends and you’ll be very happy you got to try things across their menu. The staff was very kind and helpful with recommendations and the location was clean. The food was absolutely incredible and the servicing sizes even better. I definitely recommend this location and would even likely go again.

Great place for dinner and entertainment. The food is exceptional, choice cuts prepared just right in good proportion. There is a large screen TV playing Bollywood movies for entertainment with closed captions so you can tell what is going on. The service is "offer at the counter and go find a seat" with your order brought out to you. I love eating here and recommend giving it a try.

Delicious food and a fun atmosphere. Lots of vegetarian friendly options. The staff was also super helpful with recommendations for someone in our party with good restrictions. Our kids like to eat lots of rice and flatbread and sample all the dishes we order.

Great Bollywood themed restaurant but note that this has a limited menu. We tried the Kati roll and it tasted very nice.

We visited Bollywood Theater around 4:30 pm on a Friday. It was about 50% full at this time. You order first before you sit, as stated on the sign when you are entering. You grab a menu and then pull up to the front counter to order your food. They provide you with a number to take to your table so they can bring your food and drinks to you. The vibe was very traditional, and there was a lot of cultural decor. I personally loved the Indian style decor and pillows on the seats. The restaurant has seating indoors and outdoors. We sat inside. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond by making us feel welcome and providing great recommendations. Everyone was extremely friendly. We were a party of 3, and what we ordered was more than enough to be satisfied. We ordered Ginger-lime soda, which was delicious and tastes just as it sounds, like a lime ginger beer. We also ordered the Thums Up, Indian Cola on ice and Limca, which tastes close to a 7up. We ordered Thali Meals with Paneer Makhani, which is the larger plate with food. We ordered the Kati Roll with chicken. Both were delicious, but my favorite was the Kati Roll. I'm not a huge spicy food fan, so the food we ordered is very mild. We spent $50.75, not including the tip. The overall experience for me personally was 5 star because of the service, overall value, and quality.

Food is sumptuous and flavorful. The decor has the charm of a spacious dhaba with little touches of Indian cinema.

We reached there at 4pm on Saturday evening. The place was all empty and quick service. They have very few options so we stuck with street food options. Pav bhaji was great, vada pav was good, bhej puri is good if you like sour things. All India permit drink was your usual cocktail, I could taste alcohol but no sambhar curry, husband liked his lemon drink. Would definitely recommend it.
