Came in with a very large party (12 that grew too 14) and the waitstaff, host, and bartender were all very gracious. Service was on point, cheerful and efficient. The food was a wonderful value- we had appetizers and drinks (bachelor party, so there were a fair amount of drinks) as well as mains for thirteen guys and came out to about $500 before tip; under $40 each. It was all plated beautifully and very well balanced. The secret amazing menu item you have to get? The dinner rolls. Amazing. Tangy buttermilk rolls with smoked butter umami and honey makes them a treat.

Lunch menu looks great but pricey. The $9 burger was fantastic value, though.

Every dish we tried exceeded the last - ending with the donuts and Vietnamese coffee ice cream didn't hurt either.

Happy hour till 9, not that it's gonna save you any 💰. Food described as 🇺🇸 "borderless American" 🇺🇸

Perfectly lovely meal for Portland Dining Month. The citrus salad was sweet and juicy, complimented by tangy goat cheese, crunchy Marcona almonds, fresh spearmint and the bite of thinly shaved rings of onion. I really enjoyed the ricotta tortellini with spicy chicken broth, butter and parmesan. It was delicious and surprised me by echoing the salad with notes of lemon in the broth. The buttermilk panna cotta was the perfect finish, with poppy seed shortbread and the sweetest Satsuma I've tasted. Everything was perfect from beginning to end, including gracious and attentive service by server Laurel and the rest of the staff.

Just had a great lunch at Taylor Railworks. Great choices for Portland Dining Month. The service was excellent. Very attentive and professional. The environment was very classy and industrial at the same time. We admired everything. The Gnocchi was amazing! Each dish was very impressive. I will definitely be returning ASAP.

Taylor Railworks not only delivers original and creative dishes. It gives you a welcoming and fresh environment that is rare in the fine dining world. An exhibition kitchen for all the foodies to see a team so relaxed yet focused, a front of the house that will make you feel as if you've known them your whole life. The food is fresh and exquisite. Twice now I have gone and left satisfied. The balance between the ambience and menu is a work of art, reflected on craft drink, specialty cocktails and of course the food.

Awesomely good small plate restaurant, from an alumnus of the great Little birds. Really magnificent. Particular highlights ricotta tortellini, amberjack collar. Style is "new American", which is to say more complicated preparations, with a Korean fusion theme. I found the "small plates" rather large -- the waiter suggested six for two people, but four were plenty for us . . . making this an incredibly good deal as first class restaurants go, a final bill of $90 for two people with wine. Highly recommended. Who wouldn't like it? Someone who says "I just want a steak" . . .
