Very happy this restaurant was open on Christmas. Their Alberta location is located near the end of the artistic Alberta street. Street parking along the main road or side streets.
The main reason why I came here was because they served khao soi! It was delicious but sweeter than what I had it in Thailand. Still pretty good tho! Their thai tea was also tasty and wasnt overly sweet.
Generous portions at fair prices~
We have been dining here for almost 15 years. The food is still good, but the restaurant only has one waiter, and the spice tray has changed and no longer has chili oil. The outside and inside are very conformable. If you have not tried this place, you should.
ChaBa Thai is another traditional Thai restaurant with a decade of history on Alberta Street. Their food is fantastic, very flavorful a moderate price. A decent amount of seating so you never really have to wait long for a table or sit outside in their rustic garden. We love the Pad Thai and the Spring rolls, nicely cooked and not overdone, never too hot unless you want it to be. Just ask and they will make it as hot as you can handle.
Food was great & lot of choice as usual like any other Thai place.. also seems they are one of the oldest Thai restaurants still standing & maintaining quality food.. area looks little sketchy but rest assured Food is wonderful here..
Service could have been better..
Absolute gem of a place! Amazing food no matter what you get! I had the drunken noodles, and my mother had the shrimp pad thai. We shared an order of pot srickers and spring rolls, which were some of the best we've had. It's definitely a must try spot!!
Good selection of Thai food and I'd say they're probably the best-tasting of this food genre on Alberta Street. Their basil fried rice is delicious. The inside looked a bit strange to me at first since it's so brightly-colored, but it is pretty clean. Also, service is super nice and rather fast.
Not the prettiest place or the best tasting Thai I have but it's a neighborhood staple and they are fast and consistent. Staff is very kind and easy going too.
I've ordered Cha'Ba take away in the past, but recently went into the restaurant with my family for the first time. There is a great outdoor space with plenty of shade, and a cute little garden. The food is very good with family sized portions. We ordered a couple orders of pad see ew and pad Kra Pao. The food was fresh and hot, and I look forward to exploring the rest of the menu. There didn't seem to be any house specialties. There are a couple of Thai restaurant on Alberta, Cha'Ba has become my go-to
Honestly pretty good, they have beautiful art and the waiters is sooo sweet. I had some spicy noodles and they didn’t disappoint but they have a wide variety of items. Okay selection of alcohol as well. The food was delivered incredibly quick
I got to go food. This was the best chicken satay I have ever had. The curry was excellent as well. Will definitely be making this my go to Thai spot.
