6/5. Fabulous, mate! The moment I walk in I know I was in the right place. The kitchen and the dining area is not separate so you can actually smells the food and it’s really good. Atmosphere is absolutely perfect, what a nice little place you can enjoy with your best friend, family, or a nice date place. Take your date here absolutely will be a good options. For drinks, we have couple wines and drinks it’s actually pretty good, sadly it’s not tons of options on the menu for the drinks. Menus it’s actually not big but definitely have something good on there. The dishes we have it’s really good, nice flavor, and right amount. The most surprised part is the dessert! Holy moly. The crepes are actually made by the owner in the bar you can actually see it and smells it and it turns out totally different than I expected. I thought it would be really sweet or so but actually it’s not. Nice layer with the lemon sauce inside, however it’s not sour, really great! And the clafoute are obviously great! It’s not sweet and have some of the milky taste but not heavy at all! Come on friends. Come to this place!

We ordered foie gras and warm baguette for appetiser. Foie gras was the day’s special and was tasty. Baguette was mediocre. Bouillabaisse classique was tasty. Especially I would like to mention the garlic sauce that came with it. The flavour it gave to the crostini was amazing. Muscovy Duck confit was also tasty. I loved the French 68 wine here and also the Calvi cosmo cocktail. Service is slow but was told to us right at the beginning about it.

If you are looking for a intimate, romantic, and cozy restaurant with delicious food, choose here and you won’t be disappointed. Me and my husband came here to celebrate his birthday. When we walked in, we immediately felt welcomed. The decoration, table setting, and the background music are very thoughtful, we feel as if we walk into a totally different space. As for the food, we ordered two appetizers: the squash bisque and the snail; they were both great but my favorite was the bisque, it’s just so well balanced ☺️ For the main course, we ordered the steak, sablefish, and the mussels. My husband love the steak, I enjoyed the fish, and the mussels are amazing too! I would say all the dishes are very clean and well seasoned. We also ordered the crepe as desert, it definitely completed the meal well! Thank you for giving us a great night with amazing food🥰

I've known this place for a while, but haven't visited till today. Big regrets. The only downside for many would be the portion of dishes. Not necessarily very generous, but just OK. Other than that, everything was far beyond my expectations. Appetizer- Prawn something 4/5, tomato bisque 4/5. Entree- mussels 5/5,sablefish 5/5 Dessert- crepe 6/5, my wife is a big crepe fan and literally tries every creperie in sight. Her best crepe so far has been from the French restaurant in the Epcot in WDW, FL 15 years ago. Now we have a new winner. Will definitely revisit to try other entrees and more crepes.

Incredible food, ambiance and service. Easily a top restaurant in Portland. The duck was succulent and perfect. The mussels and chorizo dish superb and flavorful. From wine selection, appetizers, mains and dessert with coffee, everything was on point. We were served by the charismatic and charming owner, making it even more special and memorable. We'll definitely be back!!

This is a chill and tiny French Cuisine bistro, excellent chef and best host, with quite a list of wine selections. Menu is not big, but all is fantastic, absolutely delicious, worthy to eat a full round and pairing with the host’s selection of wines. We had a wonderful dinner and would definitely go again.

This is a great place for a romantic night solo, or with your partner. The minute we stepped in, the owner took our coats for us and gave us options for where to sit. He took special time to talk about the items on the menu which left us salivating to start our feast. We came for date night and pretty much bought half the menu everything sounded so good. The amazing thing is there is only one chef but he times the food out so well it was like a really high end restaurant you’d experience in Los Angeles, but without the pretentiousness. Jon, the owner and our waiter also offered my hubby wine tastings so that he could decide properly on the wine of his choice that night and everything that came out made us have an “O” face. The service was impeccable and we felt so special. I’m pregnant and Jon also made me a special mocktail. We were so impressed that we bought a gift certificate for our in laws for Xmas and he said that he would treat them just as special when they come in. This is definitely a place to treat yourself!!!

Some dear friends treated us to an evening in this small but simply divine restaurant a few nights ago . Everything deserves a 5 star. Service, food, wine pairings and atmosphere. John, the owner took exceptional care of us and engaged in deep knowledgable well educated conversations with my chef husband. Sadly, there were no left overs. A perfect evening. We will visit again and again.

Wow is my first thought. My husband surprised me with a dinner here. At first glance, I thought it was very stylish and quaint. It is a small little place but the food here is BIG (in terms of flavor). I loved everything that was put in front of me and the wine selection was hand-selected by the owner himself who also served us our food. We had the Cheese Bonbon's and Foie Gras to start. They melted in your mouth good! The beet salad was unique and had tons of flavor. The octopus was delicious! I couldn't get enough of this place. I can't wait to go back and try all the other things on the menu! This is a gem of a find in PDX.
