Immaculate. An iced vanilla latte is such a simple drink but there are some seriously complex flavors here. Like vanilla, but also toasted marshmallow? Honey? I cannot explain it but it's incredible. I got the eggs benedictos to eat, and they come with a side of breakfast potatoes and an arugula salad. I was hesitant because I really love a traditional hollandaise, but this works so well! And the potatoes are crispy on the outside with a buttery inside and perfectly seasoned. I am so deeply impressed with this place! Initially I thought the price was a tad high, but for the quality of the food, this is very fairly priced.

Awesome coffee + awesome food + great service!! They serve Stumptown coffee so you know it will be great. The staff is friendly and gets your order out quick. A great coffee shop for a quick bite and good cup of coffee. The bagel sandwich and the avocado toast are delicious!

We visited on 12/31/22 and let me tell you it was a fantastic experience! Not only did they have sugar free syrups for my coffee but they offered gluten free/sugar free/vegan breakfast options as well! I had the chia parfait and it was quite the delight!!! The next morning I had the keto fat bombs and they were just as amazing. I watched the barista not only make my coffee but others as well. You could tell she took pride in her work not only getting your coffee right but making it a work of art. My only regret is that I don’t live close enough to enjoy eating there more often.

Very good food. I had an omelet with buttermilk wheat toast, yum. My hubby had standard eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. All great. I love the coffee too. Highly recommend.

Welcoming Cafe, priced just right, clean and modern-ish looking. I just wished two things:
1. Breakfast was served later or all day
2. They had more low carb food options besides salad. The girl at the register wanted to be helpful but didn't even know what carbs were or if they had anything not carb loaded. For a town that prides itself for inclusivity and food options for everyone (and not everyone is vegan), there should be more low carb, low fat options available.

Really enjoyed eating here, atmosphere was nice as we're the staff. Food is very good, that said the portions are surprisingly big. Great value but if you're budget conscious I'd say any of the breakfast meals could be easily split between two people. On our visit our family had the avacado toast, a breakfast sandwich (which is excellent, but definitely two meal worthy), and the brioche French toast (which comes with fresh fruit).

Oh, those croissants! An unpretentious bakery, with perhaps the best chocolate croissant I have ever head (chocolate both in the dough and in the croissant, amazingly flakey). I also enjoyed a very good ham and cheese croissant. With family we also tried a cream cheese pastry and a hazelnut brioche, both very good. The breakfast dishes look appealing (but I didn't try them). Espresso was good as well, though not quite top of the line .

Anywhere that serves breakfast food like Citizen Baker has a nice chilled out vibe, friendly staff and plays Moby on the Stereo as the sun comes up gets my vote! Worth a visit if you're near by for breakfast.

My friend bought me an iced americano from here. It was made even more delicious by the fact I didn't have to pay for it.
Then I mansplained a bunch and pretended to be important because I felt like that's what all the other guys in the place were doing.
I don't think that should count against this place though, it is really lovely and a great surprise since it's in a hotel. In my life, I've only really ever experienced the coffee carafes of a Motel 6, and never any true luxury.
If there was a second rating scale based on how classy this place made me feel, I'd give it 5/5 diamonds.
My friend who bought me the drink goes here when she wants to escape the Starbucks down the street and she assured me that their food and other coffee is great as well.
