Got a tip to check out the place. Despite it being a better version of a greasy spoon, I was happy enough to eat here. There is a choose your own menu OR you can eat what they make. The staff seem to want to have you enjoy the meal and don't rush you to get in and out. I loved on an everything bagel with horseradish, bacon and avocado. Was amazing. My friend had an egg, cheese and bacon on an English muffin.
If you happen to stay downtown, eat here before wasting your money on some of the other places around. You will be happy you did. So will your wallet and belly.
Food:
The food here is delicious. The toast is amazing. They have the right amount of bread to meat ratio.
Service:
The cashier was very nice and helpful. She brought our food to our table.
Ambience:the restaurant is small. Feels like a typical quick bite joint. Not much seating inside.
Got the YouCanHasCheeseburger. Yes, that is 2 grilled cheese sandwiches for the "bun". Little bit expensive, but everything is really good. Fries are crispy & so good. Lots of burgers/sandwiches to choose from + customizable options. One of the better burger places Portland has to offer.
Breakfast is served until 10pm! So damned delicious. Biscuits are really soft. 😋
This was a really great place to eat breakfast at. It was very clean, great customer service and delicious and feeling. A great place to take your girl to or a friend to. Is the only place that I've taken a picture to do a review and the people that work there actually want to be in the picture. If you don't know any of their history they actually started as a food cart. I will for sure go back there and take friends too.
food is so so so good! I had the milkshake with the rainbow confetti and I don't remember exactly what sandwich I picked (I took a recommendation from the cashier), but it was delicious! Huuuge portions. I couldn't even finish all of my fries but I wish I did because they were so good. Will definitely be back!
First place I came to right after landing at Portland International. I saw this place recommended on a few lists on visiting Portland and I can clearly see why. I tried the brunch burger with hollandaise and while it was messy, it was absolutely the most delicious brunch burger I've eaten! The bacon cheese fries were not half bad either. Staff was nice and helpful with my questions. It's a small place so it may be hard to find a table. If you find yourself in Portland definitely come here!
Best place I've visited in Portland so far. Plenty of burger and sandwich choices. Their happy hour is pretty decent, you end up saving a bit. I got the Trial by Breakfast sandwich. The bread was nice and buttery, could've been a bit more toasted. The burger itself was good. The sauce isn't overpowering, and everything meshes well. I just wish it could've been spicier. In total it was $11.25. The space is small, but they make it work. If I'm ever in downtown Portland again, I'll stop by. 😁
Small, friendly sandwich joint. The hearty breakfast sandwiches were great. A bit crowded but the line moves and the service was efficient. Good stuff.
Friendly staff and great food in this little place. We stopped in on a Thursday night and had a delicious breakfast sandwich: Trial by Breakfast with vegan sausage and jalapenos and habanero sauce... with French toast as the bun and blackberry jam. And a pound of French fries and a freaking mimosa.
Good burgers with great flavors, but I wish the patties were medium rare, they came out more well done (personal preference of course). Big serving sizes and great flavors!
