Food was delicious. Our server Micah was very friendly and let us try a dish we loved that is no longer on the menu. The atmosphere was warm and we were able to sit right next to a fireplace. Definitely recommend this place for a date night. Best tapas in Portland

Loved it here! We went with a group of ten, but would even recommend for a date night. Food was amazing and they accommodated my gluten free needs.

What an amazing place! Drinks & food were off the chain. Micah our bar tender & server was phenomenal. If we were still hungry we would’ve kept eating. Definitely going back, many times, to try the rest of the menu.

We had a delightful experience at Irving Street Tapas! Our server was accommodating to our group of nine. He made great drink suggestions, and guided us well with our tapas choices. We love the seafood paella, lamb curry, mushrooms, potato dishes, and more! My cocktails of choice were the Pearl and the Maripósa Reàl and I would absolutely order them again. Highly recommend!!!

We had an excellent dinner for 2. I love the open space and great for indoor or outdoor dining and large groups. Our Kale, arugula and beet salad was terrific. They offer a great selection of vegan/vegetarian. We had mushrooms, a beef dish, ahi tuna, and an Ethiopian dish. All were excellent. They have a very interesting selection of dishes. And they have great drinks as well! I recommend!

Some of the plates can be a bit plain, but overall I love it. I think the plainer plates are well done, just not for my pallet. Finally got to try Gazpacho though. 100% recommend that soup on a hot summer day on the patio. EDIT: Please DON'T change your flavor profiles on my behalf, there's a reason I gave you 5-stars. Everyone has different tastes and the foods were prepared perfectly. I'm just letting folks know that you have a diversity of options. If someone wants a simpler flavor profile, you have it. The Gazpacho was NOT in that category, it was intense and awesome. I like the mix-up, it makes it easier to bring in large groups.

We loved this place, food was delicious, service was terrific and atmosphere was perfect. There was music, a horn player who was great- playing a variety of songs, old and new. Our server helped us order so it was just enough food and we got to try a bit of everything. Highly recommend!

What a great new place to discover for date night! The atmosphere was really chill (we had our own little library style booth), the service was good with solid recommendations, and we were pleasantly surprised by the food. It’s easy to overdo it on ordering because there are so many good looking menu options. We will definitely be back.

Stopped in on a whim on a Saturday late afternoon. We ate at the bar, the bartender was super friendly and made great recommendations. Cocktails are on-point (we even got introduced to a new whiskey that we loved) and the tapas were delicious. To top it off, my partner ordered the ribs because, well, he rarely passes up ribs. I was skeptical since we weren’t at a barbecue spot, but they were amazing! I think it says a lot about a restaurant when they can prepare a variety of types of cuisine and do it well. The rib plate was completely different from the other more traditional tapas plates we had, but it was perfect. We will be back to try the paella and sample more from the menu. Definitely check this place out!
