We love this place! Creo Chocolate is a little hard to see, because it is on the busy end of NE Broadway near the I5 entrance, but parking is generally easy to find. The chocolate tour is a must for anyone who loves chocolate. We learned a lot and even got to design our own chocolate bars. What a hoot! Nothing ever tasted so good. Months later we are still talking about it and recommending it to anyone who will listen. For an extra special treat try the hot chocolate. This is not the kind your mother made. It is pure melted chocolate in a glass that you eat with a spoon, accompanied by glasses of seltzer and whipped cream. Bring a friend, there is plenty to share. Yum.

Our Ladies Night Out at Creo Chocolate was such a blast! Janet, Tim, and Kevin are passionate about chocolate and life. They have an infectious joy that added a special enjoyment to our time at their shop. I highly recommend taking a tour at Creo to learn about the complexity of making chocolate from bean-to-bar, tasting their AMAZING products, and meeting this wonderful family in our community. You won't be disappointed!

I've never seen so much passion and enthusiasm toward making chocolate. The chocolate making bar tour was great. We stand around the table where we will be making the bars and listen through a PowerPoint presentation. Many different flavored chocolates to try and I was beyond impressed by the juice we got to try that can be extracted from the bean pods. This tour is a must to bring your friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful tour!

Creo is amazing! The story behind their delicious creations is amazing and the chocolate they make here is deliciously unique. My workplace brought us here and we had a tour ending with making chocolate bars of our own. A great family, with a great purpose and delicious chocolates. Creo is amazing!

My fiance and I are going to Japan soon and wanted to bring gifts with us from Portland. We decided on Creo chocolate to take with us. Immediately, we were given many samples of all kinds of chocolates to try out. We ended up finding everything we needed for our trip. We also tried out the Spicy Passion and Ghost Pepper truffles for ourselves. They were so good!

Creo Chocolate in Portland is a delightful destination for chocolate lovers, deserving of a solid four-star rating. The highlight of the experience is undoubtedly the opportunity to create your own chocolate bar with a variety of delicious toppings, which was not only fun but also resulted in a delectable treat. It's worth noting, however, that the owner's religious beliefs are quite evident in the establishment, which might be uncomfortable for some visitors. While it's important to respect individual perspectives, it's worth mentioning that those seeking a more secular environment may want to consider this aspect before visiting. Additionally, it's worth noting that the owner's enthusiasm for sharing information could result in longer presentations, which might test the attention spans of some guests. While the passion and knowledge are admirable, a more concise approach might be appreciated, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the chocolate-making process without feeling overwhelmed or fatigued. Nevertheless, Creo Chocolate remains a wonderful destination for chocolate enthusiasts. The high-quality chocolate, the opportunity to unleash your creativity with toppings, and the friendly staff make it a memorable experience. The minor considerations mentioned above do not overshadow the overall enjoyment of the visit, and I would still recommend Creo Chocolate as a worthwhile spot to indulge in the world of chocolate in Portland.

Highly recommend! We did the chocolate tour over the weekend and not only was it very educational but also changed my perception on the way chocolate can taste. I thought I hated white chocolate but their spicy mango is amazing! We had so much fun learning and making our own bars.

Love, love, love this chocolatier! Local, luscious and beautiful. Well worth the hour drive to pick these little beauties up and it’s so fun to chat with the proprietor while he offers samples to help us choose the perfect treat. Our latest favorite is the Black Lava Salted Caramels!

I couldn’t be happier with the tour. It was so informative, fun, with just the right amount of tastings. Making the chocolate bar was a fun activity as well. I adore the packaging they gave us with it the bar. Highly recommend for all ages and group sizes

When I lived in Portland, I used to love coming to Creo. It's the best chocolate I've ever had. Now that I've moved thousands of miles away, I long for it. So, every time I find an occasion that warrants it, I go to their online store and have it shipped. You guys are the best!

We came for the chocolate and stayed for Kevin's sassy service 😊. I'm not a huge fan of certain flavors, but anything he had us sample was SO, FLIPPIN' GOOD ie the spicy mango?! So good. They had more than enough gluten free options for us which is always appreciated. Whatever you do, wear forgiving clothes because you will be full after chatting with this half of the father son team.
