My personal favorite in all Port Townsend. The menu is short but everything is great. The pork bao is delicious, pork hamburgers are amazing and the salad was fresh and well prepared. I had the nut pie which was good but I also spotted the other desserts and looked well served. The place was an actual guardhouse so you can actually sit on a cell. Good bar and overall layout is well thought. You can also get food and drinks in a sofa setup. Extremely good and kibd staff

I came in for lunch and found a nice, simple menu. I had no idea I was in for a treat! This is locally grown farm to table so you get what is in season. The crab cakes were delicious and the fresh made potato chips were served with a leek dip that even my toddler would eat. The sliders hit just the spot and filled with flavor.

Pretty cool place! Spent the night behind bars and dancing around fiery pits. Great staff. Brought the family for New year's Eve celebration 2020 and it was a celebration that my eight year old made it to the countdown this year. The whole place Ft Worden is pretty cool!

Very cosy atmosphere! Our server Colleen sat us right beside the fire, made us feel welcome with our three year old daughter, and offered insightful recommendations on the local selections. The share plates were tasty and well priced. It was the highlight of our trip. Thanks Colleen !

This place has great beer and atmosphere. The food was a hit and miss for me. I liked my appetizer and dessert but was disappointed with my entrée. The two crab cakes I got were tiny.

Stopped in for a bite during the blues festival, cool vibe, they had a fire pit out front that added to the feel. Had the chili, cause it was a little chilly. Drinks were good.

This place is a gem! I posted a picture of the story. It's located in the state park in an old guardhouse. Some of the jail bars are still there. Owner/server set up a brilliant menu with some of the best chowder I've ever had. Everything here is homemade (chips, bread, chowder etc.) and done with care. The ambiance is fantastic. It has a warm and comfy feel. If I lived nearby I'd frequent for sure!

Love Taps! I believe it reopens on Memorial Day Weekend 2021. Outdoor seating is the best in town. Dog friendly outside. Fire pits! Covered porch! Beautiful view, too. Four stars because the service is super friendly but sometimes a little scattered. Would give 4 1/2 if it were an option.
