Well the first thing I notice when I walked in was the change in bar and dinning room appearances. The place no longer feels small, smothering or cloister phobic. My buddy and I meet there for lunch and a few beers. Place was great the newly open kitchen shows off the fabulous wood burning oven. The owner Harty and staff make everyone feel welcomed and attended to. The star of the place is east coast sub sandwiches and pizza. We had a philly steak sand and classic pizza w/ house made sausage and onions. They do it right starting with DBL 0 flour for the homemade crust and simple beautiful tomato sauce. It's cooked in 600 degree wood oven smells of maple and hickory. It's not to be missed in PTownsens. Best pizza this side of Seattle and best philly steak sand since I moved west in 1993. Forget the greasy pizza by the slice place come here and experience the art of real dough and passion for good food. It's also one of the more affordable priced restaurants in town. You can't beat it
I love their Caesar salad dressing and beer selection. The atmosphere is kinda like "Cheers". A pleasant experience with the smell of the wood fired oven and friendly staff.
The special sreamer clams are by far the best I have ever had. Steamed in the wood stove with butter,garlic,pesto,wine,homemade sausage and peppers. Amazing...

Very friendly staff. Appeared quite clean. Delicious gluten-free pizza. My boyfriend said it's one of the best gluten-free pizzas he's ever had.
This place has very very good pizza. We ordered the Quattro pizza. The salami and sausage we're especially good. I highly recommend there house made sausage, it's some of the best that I've had. The pizzas are made when you order, so expect a wait but it's so worth it. The service was great too!
Great spot! We got there just as they were getting ready to close, but they welcomed us in. The owners were super nice and chatted with us. We had an AMAZING cheese steak sandwich that, as the menu claims, is the "best cheese steak west of the Schuylkill River! We also LOVED the special clams served with homemade sausage and roasted red peppers in a clampata. Pizza was good, too. Everything about this place was great. Nice, relaxing, friendly atmosphere. Wish they weren't on the other side of the country from us!

This place was amazing! The pizza ingredients are fresh, the amount of toppings to bread is impeccable and well balanced, and the staff are so kind and thoughtful. If you want an AMAZING dinner, with fresh to order food and the most delicious clams, come here. You won't be disappointed, I promise! The price compared to other places is phenomenal as well. I give this place 5 stars!
Delicious pizza! I've come here twice now and really enjoyed the food. The location is really great too, because it's in a basement but styled very cleanly. Making it a cozy place. Beer was priced well, and the wait staff was great.
