There are limited vegetarian food options in Port Townsend, so my partner and I love the Banana Leaf for the wonderful vegetarian menu items. However, we've been told by our non-vegetarian friends that the other dishes are just as good as well! We've also been very delighted by the quality of their wine list - there is always something that pairs nicely with what we order. The ambience is simple, elegant and beautiful. The large outdoor, covered patio is an extra treat for the Summer months! This has become our favorite Port Townsend restaurant.
My mother and grandmother and I drove up from out of town in Easter. They ate both vegan and very very happy with the dish they were served. I as well thoroughly enjoyed my selection. The staff were very friendly and wonderfully accommodating. I highly recommend this place.
Where are those extra stars when you need to give them to restaurants like these! The service, the generous portion sizes, the ambience... everything was perfect! Our server was working all the tables by himself, and he was doing a fantastic job. For those who can handle spicy food, I highly recommend giving their "Thai Hot" a try, you won't be disappointed!
Sawasdee🙏 duck special, crab rangoon, thai tea, sticky rice with mango and coconut ice cream. I hurt myself!! Haven't had a meal like this in years, really good food for the soul. Great folks running the place, great experience.

A wonderful little slice Thailand off the main street of Port Townsend. The original owners have since left but the traditional family recipes were kept. And boy, they are delicious! Top marks all around for comfort and spice and genuine care from the staff.
Amazing Thai food, crossed via ferry to come here a based on a friend’s recommendation. The indoor dine-in experience was seamless, with plenty of parking in front of the restaurant (and there was more parking on the street for the rest of our party). Very unique menu - Ordered the sweet corn fritters and Thai lettuce wrap as appetizers for our party of five. I had the Pad Thai as an entree and tried the Singapore noodles, duck noodle soup and mango chicken curry. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The way the food was presented and plated was very professional and memorable. Plus, only a short walk away from the sea!
Absolutely delicious. My wife had the mango ginger duck curry and I had the red curry with duck as well and I can't recommend this place enough. The salt and pepper calamari was good too.
The fella and I had dinner here last weekend while visiting the area. Everything was delicious and the service was great. I had the King's Bowl and would give my left arm to have it again right now 🤤 They have plenty of vegetarian options. The one server was running the whole place herself, literally running all over (sounds like they're understaffed), but she ensured all the customers were taken care of. The poor gal was juggling 4-5 tables plus answering the phone and managing take out orders, but maintained a sense of humor - impressive. We are looking forward to returning here next time we're in town.
New owners have refreshed the interior and enlarged the menu. So many choices looked appealing. The Pad Thai serving was generous and the micro-brew on tap was good. Out door seating is available. We will definitely return.
Excellent. Good service, fresh ingredients, vegan friendly, music evident but not oppressive, what a pleasant place to have lunch.
