We were at the beach and stopped by on our way out. The store manager Francisco was very attentive and friendly. He checked on us a few times to make sure we had our food and we’re not missing any items. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed especially with little ones. He made our experience a pleasant one.
This is a great location. Large, clean, and well-taken care of. Much better than the one on South Padre Island. It is worth driving off the island to eat at this one instead, if you ask me.
Used the drive thru. There was one other at pay window. Service was great. Order was prepared and handed to me quickly.

Arrived late night (10:50pm on Sunday 12/23/18) with only 1 customer ahead of us.
Our order took approximately 17 mins to get to us. We ordered Double Meat Whataburger and a Grilled Chicken Sandwich. We should have had it within 6-7mins top, especially with no customers.
Food did come out hot (a plus) then we had issues with my meal.
Asked for sub mayo and got mayo & mustard. Asked for bacon, got no bacon.
Took it back and explained the issues. They heard me out and decided to remake it. A+ for resolving my issue correctly.
Overall what seemed as a bad experience, turned out to be a good experience.

I've been wanting to try this place for years, but had never been far enough south to partake. I must say, it lived up to my expectations! Delicious burger, chocolate shake and fries. The sauces were all really tasty too, in particular the spicy ketchup and jalapeno ranch. I only wish we had these up north!
As for the particular location, I can say it was very clean inside and the staff was friendly and willing to help us with our questions despite how busy they were.
Delicious dependable drive thru service.. I recommend Whataburger with mayo and ketchup.
