Joes was recommended as having the freshest seafood and best tasting. I agree. I had the Braeden platter of 4 shrimp, 4 oysters, and calamari all fried. It was very good.

The best soup, so good! Lots of fried and grilled options. Food is fresh and flavorful. Fantastic flavor on the micheladas. Definitely get one and some soup the calamari was great along with fantastic service. The place itself is small and not a lot to look at but it is clean.

This place is solid. We have been coming here for years and the food is consistent. The seafood is fresh, the breading is clean, and the crab anything (!) - cake or stuffed shell - is perfectly seasoned. We always recommend this place to anybody visiting Port Isabel or South Padre. This time we ordered the Grilled Nathan’s Special and Joey’s Deluxe Seafood Platter. So good!

This place was recommended by a local and was also where my wife wanted to eat lunch on our last day and we did not go wrong! This is a family run restaurant and seafood market with great prices and fresh seafood, they also had mariachi music when we visited on Sunday and lots of locals. I had the grilled fish and my wife had the Nathan's combo both were absolutely delicious!

Definitely one of the most iconic restaurants in the area; great flavors. They have a market inside; private area and good service overall

I have never found fish that can beat the Billy Joe’s poor boy grilled fish sandwich. I am literally impressed and amazed every time I eat it, which sadly is at most once a year when I visit. And I don’t add tartar, cocktail, or anything to it. It is perfect as they cook it. My husband gets shrimp and loves that, as well. Christopher was so nice and friendly and provided excellent service. This place is a must!

They do NOT fry in peanut oil. Wonderful food at great prices, the Nathan special was delicious and I love that everything can be gotten fried or grilled. They have a fresh seafood market too, and the shrimp we got tasted amazing. The stuffed crab was my least favorite. Heavy on onion and breading. The flounder and shrimp were amazing as were the sides.

Fantastic food and service. I see why this place is a local favorite! The grilled fish and shrimp are dynamite! Simply cooked, fresh and fast. The customer service was great, everyone said hello the moment we walked in, we were seated quickly and our server gave us the run down of the menu. I highly recommend Joe’s! We liked it so much we are going back for dinner tomorrow night.

It was my first time eating at Joe's and I will definitely be back. I was impressed with the quick service. After my boyfriend and I ordered, our food was ready in less than 10 mins. I ordered the Nathan Special. The shrimp, fish, and crab cakes were delectable.
