Steak Shop & Deli

Happy to have found this place as our first stop while visiting the city. The energy of the staff was nice, calm, and easy going. Recommendations were delightful. And of course, food was superior! Crinkle fries are never cooked well for some odd reason but this shop cooked them to perfection. The Philly was so fresh and clean tasting! Again, cooked to perfection. We love trying as many restaurants as possible while visiting a new city, but we actually had to talk ourselves out of going back for dinner the same night to try something new!

Look this is just a basic mom and pop place, excellent food, excellent service. Now it's not the prettiest place in the world, it's older Florida from 1986 , maybe a few remodels since there. However the PRICE makes up for any deficiency in the atmosphere. So do you really want to go here for a first date ..not really. You want some good food at a great price (cash only). Definitely go here.

I was taking a trip to Flagler Beach to visit a cousin and he had told me about the Philadelphia Cheese Steak Served on a French hoagie roll with the wine sauce. He used to go to this Deli and always bragged about this sub, so I decided to stop and get 3 as a gift for him. Needless to say he shared with me and I wasn't disappointed, it was fantastic! You have to get the WINE sauce. I'm from the West Coast but every time I visit the East Coast I will stop and get a few. The deli reminds me of the older family run restaurant's that have an ambiance and love of of the food they make, new sterile places rarely have a give a s*#t for their customers. Thank you for a great experience!

This is THE go to for a steak and cheese sub in South Florida! I've been going here since 1986 and they are still the best. This is NOT a typical Philly steak and cheese, AKA no cheese wiz. My favorite is the steak and cheese with mayo and scrambled egg. The wings are good too, but you go here for the Steak. Oh, Monday is the day for $12.00 steak sub, fries and a drink.

I am writing this review from the parking lot while eating the greatest Philly steak sub I have ever had in my 32 years of living. The owner, who has been here since the 80’s, is still inside working hard to this day to satisfy his customers. He told me this would be the best Philly steak sub I have ever had, and he was 100% correct. This little spot is truly something special.
