We visited Carlucci during our return trip from a vacation in Italy and France. Incredibly, the food at this small restaurant near the beach was better than anything we ate in Rome, Naples or Nice (fantastic italian food in Nice, France - they were historically part of Italy once).
Rosario, the owner and executive chef is traditional in his culinary offerings. It's a shock to find what would be a Michelin starred restaurant if it were in Europe in a tiny little strip mall adjacent to a busy beach in South Florida (Pompano).
We now make Carlucci's a destination whenever we travel to or through S. Florida. Incredibly impressed with their Penna ala Vodka (the best I've eaten since one time 20 years ago in New York's little Italy neighborhood). Carlucci's appears to be well known for Pizza since nearly everyone within my field of view had a pizza on their table.
My wife is begging me to take her back so she can have more of their "white pizza". We live in Texas, that would be a very expensive pIzza, but we'll be back soon. It's worth the trip if you love food.
The food and the service are truly amazing 🤩 All fresh clean food and genuine Sicilian recipes! The best place to eat in pompano! Definitely stop by !!!
The best Margarita pizza, great food, excellent service, and it is definitely entertaining to set outside watching go byers. The galrluc bread is a must have. 😋
This place was quaint with seating outside. Our waiter (can’t remember his name) was super!! I had a personal meat lovers pizza which was delicious. My wife had the baked ziti with (2) buttered knots. It was fantastic with a large portion. We also had the rice balls. They were fantastic! I highly recommend this place!
It has been a very long time since I've had pizza this good. We ordered the Greek salad and pizza, and everything was crisp and fresh. The pizza was perfectly balanced and the crust phenomenal. On top of this, our server was prompt and exceptionally kind. Absolutely give this place a go!
If you're looking for an authentic Italian experience, Carlucci's is the restaurant for you. We tried three different pizzas, all unique, and the use of fresh ingredients was apparent. We would definitely go back to try other dishes
Always an excellent experience and way better Italian than any of the beach restaurants. Caesar chicken sandwich was outstanding. Penne vodka sauce with shrimp was amazing. And make sure you go back another time for their pizza. Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere.
Very good Italian Resturant just a short 1 mile walk from my Residence Inn hotel going south. Instead of North. Avoided ruby’s by the sea Italian since having bad quality food and terrible service there.
This place Carlucci’s is so much more professional and better quality of service..and food!

This place kicks ass! It's not huge, but has seating inside and outside. The waitress was extremely friendly. There were 4 of us eating and everyone was extremely happy, we all ordered different meals. The appetizers were also excellent. Meat balls and bruschetta were awesome. See pics of the meals, everything was excellent.
We ordered take out after a fun day at the beach. 2 medium pizzas a margarita and a prosciutto arugula one. We also ordered a meatball Stromboli. It was delicious. Glad we live so close can't wait to get more yummies from here
