Simply outstanding!! My wife and I went to Tidepools while staying at the Grand Hyatt for our honeymoon this week. From the minute we walked in the door, we were well taken care of. We got seated at the corner of one of the dining rooms right on the water adjacent to the koi ponds. We started with the crab cake appetizer, delicious rolls, and a lava flow drink. For entrees, we got the Filet Mignon and the Hawaiian Catch. The filet cut like butter and was served with mashed potatoes and broccolini. The Hawaiian Catch was composed of a large scallop, huge shrimp, lobster tail and a decent portion of the Hawaiian fish of the day. This was all served over a purple sweet mash and broccolini. Through conversation with our fantastic server, Kylen, we talked about how we were traveling from Philadelphia. He let us know that the restaurant general manager, Luke, was also from Philadelphia. We had the pleasure of talking to Luke for a while and he sent us on our way with a list of his own personal recommendations for the island.
Since we were here for our honeymoon, we were unexpectedly treated to a lava cake on the house, which was incredible. From start to finish, our experience at Tidepools was incredible. The service, food, and atmosphere were all amazing and we would recommend this restaurant time and time again. We booked around a month in advance, so definitely make sure you don’t miss out.

Ate an absolutely beautiful dinner on our vacation at Tidepools. We walked in (I would make a reservation because it’s so sought after), and we’re accommodated beautifully. The scenery was amazing, food and drinks - phenomenal! We also had the best dining experience I’ve ever had with our server Les. I can not put into words how wonderful he was. Will be back the next time we come, and specifically requesting service from Les! Not to mention his serving assistant “Iverson” was equally as phenomenal. Restaurants get amazing ratings because of employees like these!

The beet salad was delicious. The scallops were succulent and paired nicely with the polenta crust. The steak³ was perfect and the seafood medley was tasty. Went with a few friends for a special meal and had a lovely time. I would say the weakest component on the menu werer the desserts. The lava cake was fine on its own but didn't really need all the other crumbles and would rather see it paired with a good vanilla ice cream. Pineapple upside down cake, a bit dry, not that exciting. Overall, a fantastic experience. The setting is gorgeous and the staff were attentive and gracious.

The food was phenomenal and so was the atmosphere! Our server gave great recommendations for the meal. It was our first night of our honeymoon and we were very impressed! There was live music in the lobby that was playing our wedding song. Very luxurious feeling from start to finish!

Our experience was great and food was amazing! Has the crab cakes, macadamia nut crusted fish and and Hawaiian fish. All we're amazing and was our best dinner yet on the island! Dessert looked amazing, unfortunately we didn't have room.

The ambiance and food was fabulous. Prob the best crab cakes we have ever had. He had a steak which he loved and i had the Hawaiian catch which was absolutely delicious. Rated the experience 4 stars bec our waiter and service could have been better. We were celebrating our honeymoon. If you are looking for delicious food i would deff check this place out.

Our favorite dinner while on the island was here! The atmosphere and staff were perfect in every way and had great recommendations on drinks and food! All the food was well worth traveling for and really made the night amazing. Eating over the koi pond and watching the fish swim through the moonlit waters was just the cherry on top.

Food was good. Had vegetarian forbidden rice with add-on scallops. The 3 scallops were good sized. The staff was excellent and the koi fish were the best dinner entertainment I've seen in a long time. They were so active and jumpy!

AMAZING experience at Tidepools! The atmosphere was top notch, service was excellent and the food was unbelievable! We’re BIG crab cake fans and started off with that as our appetizer - incredible!! BEST crab cakes we’d ever had and the sauce made it that much more!
My wife got the catch of the day which was swordfish, lobster tail, scallops and shrimp - all of which were some of the best seafood we’d ever had! I’m usually not a lobster person but it was unbelievable.
I got a prime rib steak which was delicious with a red wine reduction sauce and herb mashed potatoes, asparagus and carrots - really good!
We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and they surprised us with free dessert which was molten lava chocolate cake with raspberry sauce and POG ice cream - DELICIOUS.
It was definitely expensive but worth the once in a lifetime experience. Thank you Tidepools!
