I have been enjoying their cuisine since before they moved to their current location in 2006. This is the only fine dining establishment within 20-30 minutes drive. They have a good wine list. Very friendly staff and the best bar tender in The Valley. This is not a Michelin star temple but very solid finer food. Great for a business dinner or a date. Always full of locals. On Thursday it is BYO wine ( if you want) when you sit at the bar. That is a great place to meet the locals
What a treat! We decided to go wine tasting in the area and decided to stop here for lunch. The service was exceptional, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was lovely. We were also surprised by the incredibly affordable prices for the quality of food. It may have been one of the best burgers I've ever had. If you are in the area this is a must!
Taste restaurant is a hidden gem. We celebrated our 45th Wedding Anniversary here and everything was spot on. My husband is in the restaurant business, he said it was the best Filet Mignon he has ever had. I had the scallops, super delish. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The perfect spot for a romantic, high class dinner.

Amazing food and fantastic service. We were just driving past when we found this hidden gem on Google maps, and it was some of the best food that we have tried on our US road trip so far! You must try their mushroom cigars and their burger- absolutely delicious!!
The experience was amazing. A 5 course meal served as slowly or as quickly as we wanted. Paired with wi es that were fully explained. A fabulous time in a small, quaint mountain town.
The staff was amazing, and Bess was such a pleasure to interact with. The presentation of the food was an artwork in itself and a prelude to the flavors that exploded and tantalized your senses. I just can not state how pampered we were at the experience of Taste. WOW!
It's been several years now but I've had a couple of the best meals of my life at Taste. I live in another state so don't get there often but it was such an amazing experience that I sometimes consider flying to NoCal from Idaho just to eat here.
I'm not a huge wine guy and have always been horrible with pairing. Both times we've asked them to do so for the various courses and it opened a whole new world for me.
In my opinion, Taste should be Michelin Stared.
Great food. Three courses or five course meals. Bar menu is a little different from dining menu and a la cart. Delicious found. Nice ambiance. Waiting staff was great!
My husband had a birthday, so decided to being him to "The Taste". We gave had a great meal prior, so it was easy to come back. The tomato soup with the grilled cheese was delicious. The cavier was an interesting twist, but tasty. I ordered the scallops as the entree. It was luke warm, so I sent it back. The second attempt, I was expecting hot. Nope a little warmer, but it too was not what I was expecting. I didn't want to send it back again. Too full for dessert, so I just had the port. That is why they got only 4 stars. The check was very expensive. We will not go back.
There aren’t a lot of food options out in our neck of the woods but Taste makes up for that big time! The ambiance is spectacular, especially around the holidays. The beautiful wood bar, the lights.. always sets the mood. When you come to taste you can always expect an incredible dining experience. Weather at a table in restaurant or sitting at the bar, the food and drinks are 10/10. The services matches perfectly. Always attentive, polite and friendly people. Shannon at the bar is exceptional and we adore her! Thanks Taste for all that you bring to our community. We appreciate you
