Have been here numerous times and every time is better than the last. Wonderful accommodation for gluten-free as well.

I had the opportunity to have lunch at Foster's on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was busy but we didn't have to wait for a table. Our server, Emily, was very friendly and equally professional. The food was excellent. The price was reasonable, overall a good value. I will definitely return.

If you ever visit New Hampshire, I defined suggest you make a stop here. By far the best customer service in the area. There is no competition here. Bridgette and Amelia were the best! Food was great, desert was excellent. I got some great beers. I really enjoyed my visits here.

First of all, the atmosphere of this place!!! You feel like you're stepping back in time - in a good way! It's in an historic, well maintained and beautifully decorated hotel. Nice, low lighting, but not too dark, and SO cozy. I've been there twice, and had a consistently 4/5 experience each time. THE GOOD: Friendly, fast service. The staff is nice and attentive. The food tastes good. Complimentary cheese and crackers 😁. I've tried a few dishes, and they've all tasted good. Again, the rustic, cozy atmosphere! THE NOT-AS-GOOD: The portions 🤨. The prices are 'ok', especially considering how much things cost nowadays, but the portions are small. I got the steak tips, and there were 3 bite-size tips with a scoop of mashed potatoes on a small, oval plate. I was hungry, so that was a disappointment. It was delicious, but I was hungry again an hour later. Other items had better, but still not huge, portions. RECOMMENDED ITEMS: The ahi poké app! Steak tips, if you're already full and want something to nibble on. Stuffed chicken - ok portion, but not going to satisfy a hungry person. Their salads are fresh and delicious. VALUE: We were a group of 3. One entree each, a couple of iced teas, two desserts. (We all enjoyed the cheese and crackers before the food came out). Total came to $94 before tip. I would definitely go back, all things considered. Call ahead might be necessary; we waited quite a bit the first time, and got seated right away the second time.

The POT PIE is heavenly! The crust is so buttery, crisp and pure. It is the best I've ever had. The cornbread stuffed chicken is equally as amazing! The asparagus is baked to perfection! I would fly back into town just for this meal.

What a beautiful restaurant. Emily our server was phenomenal and Richard was a great manager. The dips and crackers and rolls were so good. As was my sangria. The steak tips and mashed potatoes were top notch. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Very good. Second or third time we've been, always good. My husband had the steak tips on special and I had the bang bang lettuce wraps. Very flavorful, not too spicy, and the cucumber shreds on top went absolutely perfectly. We learned that dessert is free on your birthday. It was my husband's birthday and he chose wonton cookie dough drizzled with vanilla icing. It was good, but not my favorite type of dessert. He loved it. Has kind of a fried dough flavor.

Great place. Meet a friend for dinner and needed some catching up. We probably should have chosen a different spot due to our laughter and loud voices. I just kept thinking this place is to quiet for us. But beautiful atmosphere and great service.

Been going here for years while on vacation. Went this past week in September 2023 and one of their best meals (chicken and waffles) had changed for the worse. The waffle used to be covered in a crunchy sugar coating and now they are ale infused and taste awful. Sucks when a place ruins a good thing.

Great atmosphere, games at the table, and the all you can eat cheese and crackers is always a treat. Get an espresso martini!
