True Texas Bbq

I went and got some brisket baked potatoes. They were tasty. I was surprised that they had them. They usually run out early. They offer several different types of toppings to go along with whatever meat you choose. It is a bit pricey, but all things seem to be going up these days. If in mood for quick and different type of meal give it a try. They also have brisket beans, which are very good, in my opinion.

Don’t let the grocery store location fool you, this is great barbecue! True Texas BBQ is grocery giant H-E-B’s foray into the barbecue world, and it’s really amazing. All the meats are smoked in-house, and are delicious. Their baked potatoes topped with different meats are extra filling. The sides are great, too, with rotating seasonal desserts being an extra treat. Staff are friendly and helpful. Pro tip: come earlier rather than later because they will often sell out of the more popular items. My friends said : Best BBQ Meal in Texas ! We have friends who live nearby this HEB grocery store and the True Texas BBQ cafe located here is their go-to place for BBQ lunch. We ate here twice in a week visit because it was outstanding! The brisket sandwiches are extremely good! They also have a daily special posted which is a "can't go wrong" order. DELICIOUS ! The sides are very good too and very fresh. The cafe is in the HEB supermarket so it does get busy but we were always able to get a seat. HEB is also an outstanding grocery store! Makes us want to live nearby! TRY IT !

We were meeting my granddaughter's uncle to do an exchange and we wanted to eat before heading back to Corpus. We looked up restaurants and decided on bbq. We did freak out a little when we ended up at HEB but we got down anyway. It was honestly the best bbq I've eaten. The brisket beans were awesome!

Yes the brisket is good, but when there’s no lean brisket at 6 oClock you Get all the way home and there’s no barbecue sauce on your sandwich after I asked twice it’s just a waste of $10 and time and gas. Lately my sandwich is been missing things that I’ve asked for like pickles and onions. The sandwiches are way too expensive to be missing half the items that I asked for. I think everyone should held accountable If they don’t do a good job I’m going to keep writing reviews until I get the food I paid for. The gentleman that always worked Before with a great attitude and always said thank you my friend he’s awesome. It seems like these kids They got working back there just don’t even care super embarrassing
