You can’t beat the classic burger and fries here. It’s a great place. The beer is ice cold. The people are friendly the service is amazing.

Well could be why downtown has gone downhill. Unfriendly owners chasing customers away. Kinda the feeling of scary people from Tennessee. Not welcoming. Things have changed since ownership. Let's get these people to co-operate in bringing business to downtown again.

This little hole in the wall is definitely the best place in Platte City for bar food and reasonably priced drinks. A surprisingly creative food menu with lots of great appetizers and entrees. Everything is cooked right behind the bar, so you can watch your food being prepared. I've been there when they had live music, and that was cool too. Smoking is allowed, so be aware of that, but it has never been overwhelmingly smokey when I've been there, I assume they have smoke-eaters or good ventilation. If you ask nicely they'll give you a take-out menu ;)

My buddy and I eat here every Friday for lunch due to the laid back atmosphere, very friendly staff, and GREAT food!

Great atmosphere. Can't beat a good local place to call home. I didn't eat on this trip but I have heard that they have good food too.
