I really like this place. They have a ton of gluten free offerings. The starter they give you is amazing...chips two types of salsa and a bean dip. It's so good! The staff is so nice always and caters to you. Only downside is that they are often busy and you may need to wait.
Great cocktails!. We just sat at the bar and got drinks, but the staff was so nice. The cocktails were perfect (i had the blueberry mojito). The chips and salsa were on point as well. Im sure the food is good.
On the finer scale of Mexican restaurants. Meal was decent portion and price decent to boot. Flavors are there and intense. I will return.
Decided to try after a local business recommendation. I as well as the kids were pleasantly surprised. The chille verde was excellent. The kids especially loved the bean dip that came with the chips. The service was awesome too.
We are visiting from out of town and a local told us to eat here. Glad we did! The food was awesome! My fiancé had the Camerones a la Crema and I had the Brocheta! The food was prepared perfectly and the presentation was great too. Highly recommend this restaurant and will most definitely be back!

Awesome food and atmosphere. July 12, 2011 While staying in Placerville, our last dinner out was Cascada. We passed it on our downtown walk and came back to room so I could look at restauant reviews. We were thinking of Sequoia, but it was listed #20 out of 27, not good reviews. Decided to check out Cascada. Great service, great staff, ambiance and awesome food. My husband had the mahi mahi and loved it, I had chicken tacos and the black beans, excellent. Jeanette and Gary of Murrieta, CA
One of My Favorites!. Cascada opened just as the economy began to falter and I worried that their timing was off. No WAY! This restaurant is busy every night and it is one of our very favorites and one that I always recommend to my studio visitors, coming in from other areas. You can't go wrong with their big menu.
My five year old grandson calls me and asks if we can go to
"The Bean Dip Place", because of the delicious warm bean dip and salsas that come to your table right away. He always finds a yummy meal from the child's menu.
My favorite is still the Carne Asada, which is two thin slices of beautifully seasoned rib steak that come with all of the fixings to fill a tortilla, if you so desire.
You will not be disappointed at Cascada. The fish dishes are fabulous, too. Enjoy!
Barb. Dropped in to Cascada for lunch last Saturday after our first destination was closed. What a find! Not your typical Mexican Restaurant. Great ambiance and amazing food. I had the Pollo Invierno (delicious) and my husband had the Tacos al Carbon which he really enjoyed. This is our new "go to" place in Old Town Placerville. So many more dishes to explore....... glad the 1st place was closed.
The Pasta Mexicana is zesty with a pleasant spicy kick. The shrimp altogether is cooked to perfection and also pairs well with the Fajitas Combo. Portions are generous and the atmosphere is always friendly as well as fresh🍤🥩
Had a great time. The service was good. However, they've stopped making my favorite dish so I'm gonna have to look for a new one. Wasn't overly impressed with the carnitas. Something new next time.
Not traditional Mexican food but amazing nonetheless. House margaritas are amazing as are the basa tacos. My favorite.
Family dinner was superb. Nice bar area, serves chips tasty salsa and bean dip.
The food was unbelievable!!!!! Service was spectacular, even for a simi busy night. Oh my God, so good, gonna eat there again without question. The appetizers, and main course, dessert, all good. I loved the churro ice cream! YUMMY!!!!!!! Chicken tacos were awesome, the steak salad was cooked to perfection! Nachos appetizer are fabulous. I wish I took pictures, but I was having too much of a great time I forgot to. Look up the website, the pictures there work just fine.
Best chips and salsa in town. Great service and a great selection of margaritas. Food ain't bad either.
First time our family all got together to make up for all the birthdays we missed because of covid. They were wonderful! Good and service were terrific. I absolutely recommend the king salmon! Cooked moist flakey the sauce with shrimp melted in your mouth. Fresh veggies and the rice perfectly complemented the meal
They gave us complementary bday cakes. Delicious!!
