My family has been going to the highland for well over 60 years. The food is good and they treat you like family. Veal parm is my favorite!
Very nice place to take my daughter and grandson for dinner. The food was hot and delicious! The waitress was very pleasant and accommodating. My 2 yr. old grandson loved the big plate of spaghetti and meatballs. Even the bread and butter was fresh and warm! Thank you!
The food was yummy and satisfying. I got some buffalo wings and the sauce was good and didn't just taste like they used a bottle of Frank's, not that I don't like Frank's, but I like restaurants to do there own unique sauce as well.
Got the eggplant parmesan as well and it was pretty basic but gave me what i wanted.
Got this as takeout and it was securely packaged. The lady that brought me my food was friendly.
Delicious balsamic dressing and standard, solid spaghetti and meatballs. Tasty mozzarella sticks! Very classic and filling meal. Reliable, safe, traditional food. Nothing too exciting or scrumptious, but satisfying.
We had a great time at the bar talking with the owner and the food we got to go was wonderful. Love this place!
Atmosphere is an old time diner and I love it. It’s been around a long time and still going strong!
Terrific local spot in Pittsfield. Family size portions here and great service. Sausage, Peppers and Onions with Spaghetti was great here and some left for later on. Been open since 1936 and the there was definitely a strong regular presence a good sign.

Very casual atmosphere and friendly staff very attentive to customer needs. The meals are always good and fairly priced. We enjoy dining with friends and seeing familiar faces.
Family favorite. I always get veal parm & spaghetti, never disappointed. Also recommend the scallops. Service has some issues at times but it’s hard to find good help these days, not to mention enough good help. The food makes up for all. Also best bread in the county.
Solid local restaurant. Great service, super friendly. Reasonable prices. We were in the area for the weekend. The previous night we ate at one of the flashier Italian places down in Lenox, and it was good. Well our dinner at Highland were just as good, at a much better price. We had chicken and eggplant dinners with mozzarella triangles to start. Dinners included spaghetti, salad, and fresh bread. Another reviewer complained Highland’s salad was “iceberg lettuce with some tomatoes”. That’s true, but it’s also just the kind of salad I wanted. Basic and fresh. If you want fancy Italian dishes and $12 salads go south on RT20. If you want dinner at Grandmas go to Highland.
