When I think of Polish Hill, the Rock Room is one of the first things that comes to mind. Such a great Pittsburgh dive bar, cheap drinks, good/cheap food, and pinball. Perfect place to grab a few drinks fuel up on some pierogies and maybe see a live show, as there is a small venue in the back by the pinball machines. It is smoker friendly so keep just that in mind, either way you should check it out if you haven't been.

I’ve gotten to hear a diversity of musicians on the half of the bar which is a live music venue. Can’t wait to come back for more!

Cool bar with cheap drinks and fast and friendly service. Was there for a show last night and the place was packed. There was only 1 bartender and she rocked it! Didn’t try the food but they have crazy cheap daily deals on food
Great bar with a hole-in-the wall vibe but great selection of brews at great prices. Also live music on occasion.

Cheap, fun, smoking allowed. Good place to see bands. Order a shot of whiskey and you get a a half full orange juice glass. One of the last good punk bars around.

My band The Maplewaves (check us out!) Played here a week ago and we loved it. Cheap beer, pinball' and monday night is 50 cent taco night... Dont be intimidated by all the graffiti and punk aesthetics. They will take care of you.
Ridiculous food portions, the salad and burger were $5 each. Cheap strong drinks, punk dive vibe, and really nice folks.
