Tucked away off route 8 and 910 you will find excellent food and fair prices. This place is a welcome change to all the fast food and chain restaurants in the area. Legit barbecue is hard to find in this area and they do it right. Portions are large and prices are fair. Great staff and and eats. I almost was hesitant in sharing this place as it is a hidden gem, it it is too good not too.
The gibsonia location is fantastic... The staff and owner makes this the best place to kick back in the North Hills....
Really wanted to try this place for awhile now, since it's mere minutes from my house (oh, the places two young children won't take you sometimes😅). As it were, had an opportunity to take the family, and it was very nice.
The server was very attentive and friendly, the menu not overbearing while also having plenty of intriguing options, and the tap list was vast and varied. I had a chicken and waffle sandwich that was very good, one of the better iterations I've had in Pittsburgh, while my wife had a shrimp salad and my daughter the kids pasta.
Everyone was happy with their meal and the rotating 25 beer tap list yielded some nice sips as well. Will definitely visit again when the situation presents itself, hopefully sooner than later.
Good food and great service--thanks Renee--super friendly and helpful. Fish was pretty good--great breading--not my favorite type of fish but most people would probably love it. I'm just not a fishy tasting fish person. The smoked brisket sandwich was fabulous. My wife and daughter truly loved the Bacony Mac N Cheese skillet with smoked chicken. It is something to go back to have. Fresh fries-regular and sweet potatoe--were awesome. Appreciated that they didn't charge extra for sweet potatoe fries like some places. Pizza looks delicious, which is what I want to try soon.
If you're looking for an Awesome place to eat go to Barrel Junction in Shaler! The picture was just our leftovers from 2 people) That should help to size the quantities) Food was piping HOT and 99% of EVERYTHING is made from scratch. Great beer selection!

This is one of my MOST favorite restaurants close to my house. I have NEVER had anything bad. This most recent time, I had the Mediterranean pizza (without the onions) and it was delicious. The crust was so good. I wished there was a little more toppings(more olives, spinach, feta, red peppers) on it, but that doesn't change how good the flavor was. My husband has gotten burgers and loved every one. Also they have the MOST fun drinks. I had a cucumber cooler and it was so light and refreshing. Their fun drink menu can't be beat. Great, hardworking staff!! You won't be disappointed. Stop in and give it a try.
We love this local spot! A lot of drink options but the whole family LOVES their food. The pizza is something we all enjoy. The nachos are incredible as well. Good to dine in or take out!
We heard about Barrel Junction while visiting the area and it did not disappoint ! Super good food and fresh. They had an awesome Cole slaw as well!
The food is great. Mostly all the severs but one are the nicest people you'd meet. The bar and restaurant theme is nice. Enjoyable place to visit. Great selection of beer and drinks as well. Their nachos are great, I'd suggest adding brisket, their barrel basket is enough food for 2 people and totally worth it. Great wing flavor options. The chicken waffle sandwich has the best waffle I ever had. The shrimp are huge and tasty as well. Their smoked beans are amazing and I'm not big on baked beans but I order them every time I'm there.
I love the selection of beers on draft. The food is always good and plentiful, and our server was excellent!

We live around the corner but because of COVID we really haven't been able to truly visit this Yelp! gem out. Well... it indeed lives up to its hype. The pizza (for a "Pan" style) is an 8.1 on the Barstool Scale. Excellent flop and all around good pizza (for its type). The Spicy Honey Shrimp app was a real doozy. Not as hot as I'd like but they are good... REALLY good. As far as the service goes with COVID times I must say Ashley & Alaina did the absolute best with what they were given. Both women are excellent with hospitality and taking care of what is being thrown at them. It seems as if management may have the table system/seating number chart WAYYY out of whack for outside seating. I see the undesirable reviews across the board but I don't think that's the waitresses fault. They provide excellent service during a VERY awkward time... and BIG ups to the kitchen as the food was multiple foodgasm inducing. We'll be back again even if our order is sent to the wrong tables. Again thanks so much for an amazing first time experience here Ashley & Alaina!
