I had a slice a pizza with pepperoni and extra cheese and it was so good. From the time I walked in the door, the employees were amazing. Very polite, they greeted me, the cashier was patient, the waitress was awesome. Like I had a very good experience. They made me feel like family. Thank you so much. Oh and I bought a slice for my nephew and he liked it as well.
This location consistently has really good pizza, and I was craving it for lunch this past week so I made my way over, parked, and ran inside for a couple slices. Turns out after I ordered that the tap and pay machine wasn't working, so the owner - without prompt - said "i's all right, come back when you can or pay it forward all good by me".
So I came back the next day to pay for my two slices, then bought two more slices. I arguably had the best slices of pizza I ever got from any of their locations.
Great staff, great food, great indoor seating for a quick slice, definitely will be coming back for a long time.
I wasn’t expecting anything special before I stepped in. I thought it is just a regular pizza shop. I was wrong.
Their NY Style pizza is phenomenal! I have the hot Italian pizza. It has pepperoni, banana pepper and cheese. It’s fully loaded. The crust is very thin and crispy, but also chewy. The fillings, the cheese, the crust, all on the point. Love that slice.
You can also see them making pizza in front of you. The guy who prepared the dough literacy throw the dough into the air and let it swirl. I guess this is why their pizza crust is so delicious.
We started trying a different pizza spot every couple of weeks about 2 years ago. Tried about a dozen before we ended up here and have more or less stopped our quest. We get the normal pizza, red sauce, a couple toppings. There's a sweetness to it that makes it so easy for me to just keep chomping away. Big thin slices, as you'd expect from a NYC style place that reheat well in the oven or stovetop taboot. I should've written this when I had some on hand because now my mouth is watering.
There's plenty of tables and chairs and the space is cleaner then about 90% of the pizza joints I encounter around town. And they use Toast so you can build up minor discounts pretty quickly.
I don't normally eat dairy, but the pizza at Slice on Broadway is so delicious that it's worth indulging in a little cheese. Some New York style pizza is greasy, but not the pizza at Slice on Broadway. It really is just damn good pizza.
Unbelievable pizza. Been wanting to try it for years. Great job. Cooked to perfection.
The worst customer service in the world!!! Only reason I go still is because the pizza is good. Store hours also is a problem!! If you close at 9 then why can't I place an order @ 9:40!!?? Make the hours to 8 then!! Or take the last order at 9 and turn the phone off!! Duh!!
Ordered a pepperoni and bacon pizza, pizza was extremely good. Cooked perfectly, crust wasn't dry or chewy, but a nice flaky crust. Used a good amount of cheese and pepperoni. Bacon was large whole chunks. I'm used to bacon bits. I probably will not order bacon again, but some people will probably love it. I will definitely order here again
One of the best pizzas is Pittsburgh.
if you are bored with to SPAK BROTHERS Then this is the place for you .
We had half Pesto Chicken and half BBQ CHICKEN pizza . One word- delicious.
Owner is super awesome . I wish I could give an extra star for owner .
Old place here was worthless and garbage . New place awesome .
Suggestions instead of going by slice , get whole pizza -cheaper option .
Parking - No ( nearby street parking but you have walk for 4-5minutes . )
Staff - Friendly and helpful
Taste -5 Star .
Cost - competitive. In comparison with other pizzeria
Good seating .
One suggestion for owner- start making indian style pizza like chicken tikka masala pizza. Pittsburgh has only one that too in south side . You will get many customers nearby and it’s something new which will definitely help the business as CHOOLAH an indian restaurant is nearby
A few days ago I had ordered calzones, several pepperoni rolls a a small salad. I really love the pepperoni rolls, the dough is so delicious. The small salad was very fresh and the balsamic vinaigrette, which i am not normally partial to, was absolutely delicious. It is thick to where you can dip your greens in.
Unfortunately I had an issue with my order. I left a message on their site and the manager immediately responded. He was very kind and graciously fixed my order. He is a person that cares about his customers. I think Slice on Broadway is one of the great pizza shops to go to. If you have not tried it, do so. The pepperoni rolls are definitely worth it.
