I had never been to this landmark entertainment venue before they hosted a community theater production on a Sunday afternoon. The space worked well for that performance. My only complaint is that the doors opened @ 3pm - just 90 min before showtime, and everyone who came in wanted to order food & drinks. There were only 4 servers to handle everything for about 65 guests… OOPS! Fortunately, it was a very patient crowd, but food was being delivered to tables during the first act of the performance by servers who walked right in front of me to do this.
If the doors had opened @ 2:00, allowing more time for lunches to be prepared & served before the entertainment begins, I know that I would have enjoyed the whole experience much more. I didn’t like having to eat my food while trying to watch the live performance for which I had come to the Linden Grove.
Giving more restaurant time would also help the kitchen & waitstaff do their job without frenzy.
I hope the Linden Grove will host more entertainment like the original musical I saw that day. It’s a good space for small group performances. Just plan the food service better next time.
Reviewing tuesday night karaoke. Staff and patrons are very supportive. Food is very low priced. Waitress works her @ss off. Crowd is much older but still got in a some rock songs.
Fun time, great live music, ample dance floor. Beer selection is not great. Flatbreads and Pittsburgh salads were great. Other food choices were just okay. The servers were very nice but there wasn’t enough of them for the large crowd. Paid a $10 cover, which isn’t unheard of for a live band at a nightclub. I’d go back.
My wife and myself have been here many times and LOVE it, once with a group, no complaints. Stopped in a few times after taking photos for a drink. Of course you have to wait a tiny bit when they are busy, what do you expect. I believe their is a $10 cover charge only when there is a band. This whole place is incredible including the atmosphere, my parents even danced here in the 40's ! The owner & staff are friendly & accommodating. How many places have dancing (DJ & band), dining & drinking today !! Give it a try - you won't regret it.
Been there dozens of times - historic venue - originally opened in 1870!
Fantastic little bar for karaoke! Warm and welcoming with a lovely vibe! Highly recommend!
Great local nightclub. Great food, good service, offers live bands, karoake, dancing with good music. Fun environment. Locally owned and friendly employees.

As a younger person, coming here I was hesitant, but I usually always have SO much fun! The music is LOUD which I love, the dance floor is pretty big, the lighting is just right. My only complaints are the food and drinks are very expensive, the jukebox took our money and didnt play our songs with no refund, security can occasionally be very rude but most are extremely professional, and some guests can also be a bit rude but overall I have a great time here! :)
a place you can go just to have fun, dance and eat. Food is excellent service is fantastic and everyone is very friendly. Wednesday is oldies night, Thursday is karaoke Friday live bands and Saturday DJ Tim with top 40s dance music and videos on multiple tvs and a big projector screen
So much fun! Bands and D.J. on weekends. Food is good, staff is great.
