Love Peter Allen's....it is my go to place in downtown. I love the new decor and menu items. I have never had anything I did not think was absolutely great. The chicken pastina soup is top of that list followed by the meatballs. I think there are few too many tables for the amount of space but other than that definitely gets two thumbs up!!!!
Outstanding service. Even though the room was packed our server was attentive and available.

I’m so glad I didn’t read the reviews before I came!!! LOL. I wanted to come strictly from the amazing food that were in the photos that people shared!!! And the food, let me tell you, was AMAZING.....!!
Every single person who talked to us was so kind and friendly, I almost gave one of them a hug LOL! But yeah it was hard to find parking, and the service was a slight bit slower than I would have preferred, but it’s okay because we got everything we wanted in a reasonable amount of time despite how busy it was and, like I said, everyone was so so kind (even though we were late to our reservations due to parking LOL) and helped us get seated asap.
Professionalism, kindness, good customer service, and amazing food. It was a really fun girls night out!! 😊
I loved the classy black & white decor, and great location! The food was delicious as well! I had the lobster ravioli, and was happy with it. They seemed to have a lot of tables crammed in, making it seem kind of 'smushed' and tight on space. I would visit again!
Brian was a great waiter for us. I had the veal and chicken special. It was delicious, and went well with the glass of zinfandel. My wife enjoyed the lemon chicken with artichokes and mushroom special. We plan to come back in the near future. By the way, our calamari appetizer was plentiful and worth trying. We ordered the fried option. If eating bread, ask for the olive oil to go with it! Enjoy.
We have not been there before tonight The food and service were very good. The food is classic Italian, but not heavy.
I ate all those ravioli and bread and was able to walk away from the table with out feeling like I was in a coma. The serving size was more than I expected.
I will go back.
Note: I did reservations on their website and never heard from them to confirm. When I called to confirm, they were all booked. Then he called me at 4:15 to say that they had a cancellation and to see if I still needed dinner reservations. I appreciated the their effort.
We went there twice in the last week, once for dinner and once for dessert. On both occasions, the service was very good, fast and friendly. We were there at dinner time before a show, and the place was fairly busy. Food arrived in plenty of time, and was good.
On a second occasion, we were there after a show, and there were only a few customers there. Dessert and drinks were quickly served and were very good.
Fantastic food and great staff. We ordered the shrimp appetizers followed by the salmon entree with broccoli. Everything was delicious. We ended our meal with the tiramisu which matched the quality of the rest of the meal. I would definitely return to this gem
We arrived ahead of the other 4/5 th of the group. 10 people, seated comfortably along with very attentive service.Based on everything that was ordered the cook and presentation on the foods ordered 10+ the kitchen "did good". The only draw back is how you "seem to delegate your wait staff". Straight up they are very good, we started with one and then and then there were two.
Personally we love our servers (more than any owner needs to know!!) And tip 20% even if the business does an auto charge, the server will get it separate from the check. Your second server hit our table as if she was attacking a beachhead. We had ordered.
Bottom line loved the food, the "doggie bag service" AX3+. We will be back.
My family and I were happy to get seated right away on busy Saturday night. Carol the hostess was welcoming and funny and made us feel comfortable. The food was delicious and was served quickly! We would recommend and would return!
Food was good. A bit pricey and service on the slow side. They were quite busy and our server seemed overwhelmed, only partially cleared table and we had to ask for checks twice. Several nice booths for seating, liked decor/atmosphere will probably visit again.
We enjoyed our dinner. We had a family birthday with a baby. Carol made us feel very welcome. She even took our niece for a walk. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back. The service was excellent!
