My husband and I have been going to the Huddle for years, we are their at least 3nights a week, great food and good prices. Our grandaughter calls it the popcorn place, anytime she comes home she has to go. It is her favoriate place. It is always the place for family gatherings. So glad it is in our neighborhood
I love having this place close by. Really good dinners that aren't overpriced and lots of good bar food choices like wings. Steaks are amazing, soups are always great, and fish specials like lemon pepper salmon are really good too. Get the house ranch for your salad. Also they now have sweetwater IPA!

Always good food. The Huddle is a diamond in the rough. Dont over look it just because its in Beechview.
Standard bar fare, complimented by great steaks, pork chops and surprising specials. I've had just about everything on the menu, and while some items suit my taste budds more than others (as anywhere), the food is always consistent. They serve the best open face steak sandwich your going to find in the South Hills. There dining area is separated from the bar for those with children. The place is super clean, including restrooms. The service is good, a little slow at times. But hey, there is freshly popped pop corn, and it's free. Alll in all a great experience every time.

I love this place so much! The food is always on point and it has such a cozy neighborhood vibe. We always run into our neighbors here.
The daily specials are my favorite- I almost exclusively order from the day's specials.
They also have a large enough menu to please everyone. Think cozy home cooked staples like: burgers, wedgies (like a calzone), wings, big salads, pasta. Yum!!

Is two blocks from my house. I will say, the staff is always friendly. The owner is not so much should probably stay in the background. The food is well priced with large portions. My boyfriend loves the sauced wings. Some of the food items are not as good as others, do not order the "fresh Turkey burger". The crowd is older, neighborhood joint. Which I do not mind. Good place to chill. Family friendly.
Delicious food! This place has a "daily specials" board and a surprisingly large menu. Several beers on tap (including fatheads HeadHunter). I had the tuna melt special and the wife had a burger, great prices and excellent service. I was told the booths near the bar are the best seating and I agree. Cash only, but there is an atm inside.
This is a welcome surprise. It's apparently a popular place for food with nice drink prices and friendly people. I didn't stop to eat, only drinks. The staff was attentive. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I had a good time too. I will go here again. Seems like a nice place to take a group of people no more than 5. There were open stools at the bar on a thursday but for most of the time there was up to a 5 minute wait to be seated at a table or booth. The food is carb heavy though. FYI, unless you order steak.
Great food and atmosphere! The "Cheers" of local tavern/eateries! If you like wings I suggest the "tanned" wings. Hot, spicy wings the usual way then broiled to a crisp! Yum! All the food is good!
This place is a dive, but probably one of my favorite places in the city. The Tan wings are so good. Cash only, which is unfortunate, but it's cheap, really cheap. Happy hour is $1.50 Yuenglings. 5 Beers and 2 Orders of wings will cost you like $20.
I truly like the Huddle. When your craving old fashioned American Food . They don't except credit cards though, but do have an ATM available. The food is outstanding, and you can get fried chicken , steaks or what ever great special they may be having. It's a bar and restaurant that has so much more than normal fried bar food.
Don't let the construction deter you!
The Huddle is alive and well. I've had no problems parking there on wing night.
We love this place. Great wings for cheap. Pitchers of American macro-brew. Sassy local service. Can't go wrong with the local yinzer joint!
I get plain wings with salt and malt vinegar on the side, but they typically offer them with two options: barbecue or house wing sauce; regular or tan. Tanned means fried, tossed in sauce, and then blackened in the broiler.
You need... NEED... the pecan ball. That is all.
Great neighborhood bar with great food. Try the tanned wings or their burgers. Recently updated inside. The Mediterranean blackened chicken salad is delicious! Friendly atmosphere and nice staff.
I have been a very happy patron of The Huddle for over 20 Years. Having moved out of Pittsburgh in 2017, I still come back every time I visit, for their wings - By far my favorite anywhere. Great salads and burgers as well, and a "Treat Everyone Like Family staff."
