I consider this the kind of a hidden Primantis location in Pittsburgh, since it's not exactly near any major neighborhood. As it were, I have my fantasy football drafts there every year, since it's never packed and the service is good.
The food is decent, in line with the chain, and the drink specials for Happy Hour are good. The service has always been good overall, and the place feels a lot more small time and of the neighborhood than it is, which is welcome.

A pretty chill place for locals to hang out. So if your focus is not about food but simply to find a place to talk to your friends after hours, this is a pretty good option. The indoor is a bit on the colder side to my preference, but they do have patio. The environment is not too noisy either. As for the food itself, the cocktail is not very alcoholic :( only tasted the pineapple juice

I couldn’t come to Pittsburgh without trying the famous Primanti Bros and it did not disappoint. Their coleslaw is amazing. The fries are good and the sandwiches are filling. Try the cordon bleu!

This location is one of Primanti's better ones. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and they were dead. Just a couple people at the bar. The reason for our visit was primarily the dog friendly patio as our pup was with us. Service was mediocre. And surprisingly so was the food. Prior to this most recent visit the food at this location has always been very good. I got the pastrami sandwhich and the meat was greasy, fatty and chewy. Needless to say this wasn't the best Primanti's experience I've had.

I make sure to make it a priority to visit Primanti Bros whenever I’m in Pittsburgh. It’s a non negotiable. Meals like today are exactly why I make sure it happens! Delicious Mac and cheese bites, a mess of fries, and a tasty sandwich. I wish I had a second stomach.

Crazy cause Primanti Bros was one of the reasons why I wanted to visit Pittsburgh, I always saw it in the food shows and always looked so good. Anyways I found some street parking up front so parking was easy. We got menus and it was self seating. Ordered the Iron City Light and a Coors Light for drinks. Then for food we got the Classic Capicola with an egg, Reddit told me about this. Then the Classic Kielbasa with egg. We split both they were super good but I like the Capicola better. The egg was a nice touch tho, thanks Reddit. Massive sandwich but ate the whole thing. Nice to check it off the bucket list.

I was in Pittsburgh for the weekend and Primanti Bros. was recommended so I stopped in for dinner. Great atmosphere, bartender was friendly and attentive, and the food was pretty good. I didn't care for the personal pizza but the wings, Big Pretzel, fries, and beer was great! I would recommend.

I absolutely love primantis bros. Each location is just different enough but the food is always amazing and service is great. Even though the server was busy she totally played into our tourist mode and was beyond sweet. This location is probably my favorite of the 5 I've been to on my random Pittsburgh trips!

definitely less crowded than the one on the Strip; it has a quieter and more lowkey vibe. the bartender was very friendly and made sure my food/drinks were great!

We had a large catering order from this location for an event. They were very friendly, had everything ready on time, and the food was delicious. We will definitely be working with this location again!

Nice bar in the Garfield area. Can see how it would be a great place to meet up with friends to watch a game and grab some food/drink. Otherwise there’s only so much you can say about this pittsburgh staple. It’s an oversized greasy sandwich which pairs well before during or after drinking/sports/both. Love their slaw, fries need to be crispier. Never had the pizza at this one but at one of their other locations I remember having a solid pie.

An amazing restaurant! I'm a trucker stuck in town so I got a rental and just cruised. I had the Pitts-Burger and Cidergeist Bubbles Rose Ale. I couldn't finish the sandwich! Pittsburgh has a lot to see, eat and drink!

Date night with my husband. Our food was delicious and our drinks were delicious 😋!

The fries are delicious. The kids meal was a decent size. My oldest got the Genoa salami and cheese and loved it. I had the Pitts-burger (picture), it shouldn't be #2, it was good but the Salami was MUCH better! Service was good, even with covid. My coupon didn't work online so they took care of it there. Very quick and friendly.

Left our water bottle but the place is super clean and the food and staff are wonderful.

Got my 1st Pirmanti Bro's fish sandwich, LOVED IT!!! Completely worth it. Ive been to this multiple times and the service has always been on point, food has been made right, on time (even with multiple orders), not one time have i ever been disappointed with my food!!

My BFF and I went there last night for Happy Hour. There was a nice crowd and the service was good. The sandwich was good with the right amount of meat, maybe alittle more fries. But what I really enjoyed was my Long Island ice tea, it was the bomb, the female bartender with the long blonde curly hair makes the best Long Islands. I will definitely be there for alot of the Happy Hours. Half off drinks and $5 sandwiches and appetizers is about the best you're gonna get..

Probably won't return. . Flavors were ok but not really spectacular. The Cajun chicken sandwich I had was rubbery from cooking the meat in a microwave (I hope). Tables really needed to be cleaned as they were sticky and had scraps from bread on them. There was a mother's day special on the table advertising but wasn't offered to us not sure why. I will say I liked the idea of the slaw on there that was good but the fries were definitely old and reheated. Maybe the other locations aren't like this one as I have no others to compair to I've never been to one and most likely to not.

I have always been a big fan of Primanti Bro. But that new one in Grarfield might have been the worst one that I have ever been to. The sandwich was extremely little there was 10 fries and a little bit of slaw, and the thing that made it really bad was I had a friend from out of town with me. And he was like this is what you have been bragging about......all in all Primanti Bro is good food, nice place to be at. Just not that new one in Garfield

I was told it was a must try! The food was delicious and unique. The service could have been slightly better but all in all a good experience. Would def try it again!

Stopped for lunch while client was at Children's Hospital. The Chili was good. Pizza was fantastic. Had great service. Next time in area will be back.

Amazing food. Great food! Excellent service, so glad we stopped
David Lawyer
Not bad. Great service. Great drinks. Sandwiches weren't bad. Very creative in how they're made. Could use just a little more meat in them and less fries but still highly recommended.

Pretty good I was shocked last visit wasn't that great !!! But the Garfield place is pretty good !!!!

Had the smallman Street fries and a cheese steak sandwich with a Sprite. My 1st time here to the Garfield location.
Leslie DeSabato
Ordered two things and they were out of both. Changed order and it was less than satisfactory. Love Primanti's, but won't come back here.
Brandon Bochicchio
Great sandwiches for great prices. I mean it's hard to find a filling sandwhich for a cheap price

Nice...newer spot in the Burgh...always good food!!

Personally, I love their food and have never gotten bad service. Shout out to waitress Devin. Very understanding and attentive.
