The historical Obey House Tavern is a place to enjoy good food & drinks and all at a reasonable price! Always a friendly place and when their is a band the place is alive. When I am in the area I enjoy this neighborhood bar, you will too.
Last really good neighborhood tavern. The owners live upstairs and take good care of the place, and one of the owners is the chef. Food is really pretty good. Especially the pizza. Now no smoking!! Nice place in the back garden for smokers with a picnic table. Bottled beer only, but they've got a good selection. Very reasonably priced.
Great food (taco Wednesdays are the BEST)! The owners and employees are awesome. Love the entertainment, too!
Great local bar with a food and daily specials.
The obey house is a landmark bar. It's been here forever ....and still can compete with any local bar and win. The service is great, friendly staff and attentive bartenders. It's clean. Every time I've been there over the last 20 years, well maintained. And most importantly, the food is excellent!!! And I'm picky. My favorite to find is an outstanding Italian Hoagie and obey house is honestly my top pick right now. Excellent bread, generous meats and cheese, super fresh veggies. Their burger is absolutely great too!!!!
Love this bar. Great bartenders, food is way above bar quality food and they keep a tight ship on anyone who wants to disrupt your good time. Daily specials are all reasonably priced. Karaoke fridays are always packed and almost every saturday you can count on a good rock n roll band to listen to. Many large and one extra large tv screens means you can watch all the sports you want up there!
I come here often! I usually come on Friday for karaoke but I also come for the wings and the chips!!! Everyone is very friendly. The owners Mark and Chris are great hosts! I just think it's an awesome place!!
Great little dive bar in Pittsburgh, live music on occasion. Wii bowling around Christmas, just cant beat it
This place is a gem! Friendly staff, friendly people and a building with more history than it should be able to hold. It ain't no Fern Bar, that's for sure. If you know how to behave at a neighborhood bar then this is the place for you no matter what neighborhood you are from.
Good food, nice people no trouble big parking lot.
