Kris Maron is a great artist, if you are interested in American Tradition or watercolor tattoos, he is you guy. I plan on having him do two complete sleeves after my experience with him. The shop itself is great, could ask for a cleaner environment for a tattoo shop. All the artists there are upper echelon, check them out!! The tattoo is only a week old in this pic!! They use Tegaderm to heal the tattoo, next to no scabbing or color loose, incredible!!
Excellent service, artwork, and collaboration with my tattoo artist, who was so great to bounce ideas off of. Kati was a delight and a joy of a tattoo artist to work with, I will certainly return and refer people to her because her skills and company are excellent!!! As you can see, she does well with fine detail, black, grey, white, and color. She was flexible with meeting times and with conceptualization. I loved the entire experience!!!
Excellent drip coffee selection!!! They even have really cool scientific cold brew contraptions that you can watch drip behind the counter. Excellent, knowledgeable, and super friendly service here. The espresso brews are always analog and never computer programmed so that every shot is pulled to its optimal potential flavor. Outdoor seating space coming soon too!!!
Just went here yesterday for a tattoo. Super friendly environment, welcoming owner, very talented artists! Couldn’t recommend Michael Cipollone enough as an artist. He gives the best experience I could ever ask for and is EXTREMELY talented. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
First off let me say that I have never met a nicer group of people. The ladies at the down stairs coffee shop let my service dog come in and walk around. The coffee was amazing.
Secondly I am getting a half sleeve done by Matt M upstairs in the tattoo shop. Matt was a fantastic guy to work with, and to talk to. Not only him but the other artists were great too!
If you are thinking of getting a tattoo I HIGHLY recommend Artisan to anyone.

When I was looking for a place to get my first tattoo, Artisan Tattoo shop and gallery quickly became the only choice for me upon finding their website and various social media outlets. I was happy to see the work of the artists laid out cleanly on the website, and the strong mission of the folks there was clear.
The store was very, very clean and professional and I am absolutely confident that the safety and health procedures were followed with care to the nth degree. My idea for the tattoo was well executed with thought and care by Sara Eve Riviera. I was very happy with the final product and would highly recommend working with Sara or any of the artists at Artisan.
Though the cafe' was not open when I went to Artisan, I was very impressed by the construction and artwork of the gallery/cafe' area and I plan on returning to have a coffee.
My partner and I went for the 412 flash special to get some sweet Pittsburgh-inspired ink. We both got pieces done by Jason Angst, and the experience couldn't be better. The whole team there is professional and super cool and positive. The cafe on the ground floor has great coffee, tea, and snacks. The tattoo parlor is kept clean and each artist keeps their stations well-organized and personalized in awesome ways. They all clearly love what they do and make it a great experience for their guests. Jason also gave us a solid explanation of his suggestions for after care. I can't wait to get more work done here.
I am getting my present tattoo done here by the owner Jason. I cannot say enough about his mannerisms the cleanliness of the shop and his expertise. So far I have sat through to 9 hour sessions and have enjoyed them all. We laugh and joke with all the other tattoo artists that are there all day long. The quality of his work in my opinion is second to none. He takes an extreme amount of pride and what he is putting on your body and I believe there is something very comforting about that! I will add to this article once my tattoo is finished, up to this point I have nothing the positive things to say about Jason and his tattoo studio, and his staff for that matter. Thank you all for making my tattoo experience wonderful!
Artisan has really great drinks and coffee without being pretentious. The space has a really nice vibe and the staff is friendly. I like doing work here except for hot days in the summer - it can get pretty warm!
