Fabulous loungey dining space with elevated (but still hearty) bar fare & lovely staff. The happy hour deals are pretty solid, and the drink selection is really nice. This is the perfect spot if you're looking for a classy but approachable establishment in the South Side area, whether it's just for drinks or dinner and apps.

First time here and we'll definitely be back. Service was quick and very friendly - never had to ask for drinks or water refills (this is a big deal to me). Started with a beer for my husband and a cocktail for me. Then we worked our way through some snacks. Started with the Tuna Tartare, then the Mussels in a Smoked Tomato Broth (wow!), and finished with the Baked Ricotta (kept some of the mussel broth to enjoy with that too - we just couldn't get enough of it!). Ended it all with 2 desserts to share - Strawberry Tart with a shortbread crust and a Croissant Bread Pudding with the most decadent, buttery caramel sauce topped with caramel popcorn. It was all amazing.

Dessert was absolutely amazing! I was having a pretty bad day, and I had munched through the main course and not thought much about it. But just one bite of that white chocolate lemon crème, and I was whisked away to another place. I couldn’t believe what I was tasting, shocked really. Plus, dessert was only $11! Totally not what I was expecting. Would absolutely recommend. If you’re looking for interesting, try what I had for my appetizer, Roasted carrots and shishito peppers. The main course, Hanger steak, was ok. It tasted a bit like burnt wood in some places. But the dessert, oh my goodness. Words… cannot… describe… You have to try it

Super chill atmosphere, great service, really REALLY Delicious food. So good I forgot to take photos until my huevos rancheros plate was straight clean! The service was friendly and accommodating. There's an open kitchen and brick oven right up front. The chef and cook were engaging, so cool to see them prepare your meal.

Everything about this place is awesome. The food was well prepared and everything was delicious- the brussels sprouts may be my new favorite everything. The bartender clearly took her time crafting the cocktail menu. I love rotating seasonal local draft options. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I’ll be back for sure.

Fantastic place with clean, modern atmosphere. The food is delicious. I would strongly recommend the rock shrimp risotto. Flatbread pizza was a bit burnt but pesto and pomegranate was interesting. But overall the service here was extraordinary- the staff here was extremely kind.

Took a friend here for her first time. I had been wanting to get back. I had a mocktail for dry January (They can turn most of their cocktails into delicious non-alcoholic versions!) and she had Lambrusco. Nice to find that on another restaurant wine list, too. We share the baked ricotta, a cauliflower & prosciutto flatbread and the opera cake. All of which were absolutely delicious.

Food was great at Bonfire. The Brussels were very delicious with smoked grapes. The flatbreads were pretty good. Everything comes out of the wood stoked fire. Some of the toppings needed broken down more to be bite sized. The waiter was a little slow but he was fine. We sat outside off the main drag in south side. Good for people watching.

I have been in dozens of states and nearly as as many countries. I can't say this is they have the best burger I've ever had, because that would be disingenuous exaggeration. I *can* say they have the best burger I have had in these United States. The meat is quality and cooked to taste. The bun is soft and firm, keeping the body of the burger while adding some sweetness. And the sauce is great by itself, but its mixed with the warm burger fat is divine. Truly a work of art and worth every penny plus some.
