This place is incredible! Wonderful, fresh seafood; wonderful, fresh sushi and sashimi; so much more wonderful, and fresh food that I did not have enough stomach capacity even to try, and great staff doing amazing work behind the scenes and in front of house to provide a hospitable and delicious experience to everyone. Highly recommended, and worth a trip, especially if you're hungry 🤤

The food was nice and hot!! The place was pretty full. Which was good, thats how you know they doing they’re thing!. They made sure too refill your drinks and they also got the plates right away… I wish there crawfish was A-Grade. That’s the only bad thing. Overall everything else was fine. The restroom was clean too that’s also a big deal to me.

One of my favorite buffets of all time. Had been a out 3 years or more since the last time I was here. Wasn't sure if anything had changed since the pandemic, but once I got in there it was just like old times and the food was absolutely delicious! Can't wait to go back, seriously it is amazing! The variety of foods is awesome! Love the sushi!

Hokkaido Asian buffet has a huge selection of foods with a focus on seafood and other Asian dishes the buffet spans two walls of the restaurant and includes stations for salads, seafood and Asian delicacies, soup, hibachi station served by a chef who proposed your selected raw items on a hibachi grill, meat carving station, sushi, side dishes, and desserts. There are many non seafood options... chicken and beef dishes and even some pizza etc for the non seafood eaters. The price is reasonable...$21.99 on Sundays and lower during the week. They do charge an extra $8 for excess wasted food and have many signs encouraging you to only take what you can eat. Service is minimal as expected at a buffet. The food was reasonably good, somewhat better than expected for buffet style service with foods prepared in bulk and left on warmers. Mussels were great, crab legs just okay. I did find that the food quality varied from serving to serving depending on how long the food has been out.

OH EM GEE! I wasn't expecting all of this! It's a very nice and clean restaurant. Service was great, plates were cleared off almost immediately and the employees were nice. It wasn't too expensive for how much fresh food and different food bars, my boyfriend and I ate there and our check was $50. Muscles and sushi were absolutely amazing (fresh wasabi and ginger). All meats were tender and not dry. This definitely is a higher standard for buffet. Highly recommend.

This is my first time since Covid. Everything is basically the same except they added a few items like seafood treasure which is a mix of seafood pieces. Family friendly, buffet style, lots of options. 10 percent gratuity is added to all checks. Prices do seem a little high for the choices. This is compared to other buffet restaurants.

Hokkaido reminds me of my high school years living with my mom. We fought a lot, sometimes we didn’t talk to each other, but my mom was, and still is my best supporter. Some days I just asked my mom to go Hokkaido, and she would always say yes and drive thirty minutes for me. Yesterday was the first time in four years that I have stopped by Pittsburgh since I left for college. This time, I was by myself because my mom went back to Korea and the rest of my family are in Korea. I ate quietly, and looked around the place while eating, thinking about where we sat when we were here. It’s so cliche, but after all those boring and mundane days has past, I only realized that those good and relaxing days spent with my mom is never coming back. Hokkaido may not be the best quality sushi buffet, but I can picture my mom’s love towards me whenever I think about the place.

On a scale of romances to documentaries, Hokkaido Seafood Buffet is a spicy romance where the hero gives the heroine everything she wants and more. With a buffet that stretches across two long walls of the restaurant, selections include a number of Chinese dishes that are often favored by Americans. I was delighted by the spread of freshly made sushi, and you have the chance to build your own stir-fry as well. Word to the wise, they have ice cream by the desserts! If you're craving sushi and Chinese dishes, Hokkaido Seafood Buffet is for you. The parking lot is slightly confusing because you need to go in via the intersection with the light, and then you'll wind down behind the restaurant before coming to the front.
