We were there for lunch. Only one other customer was there. The surroundings were inviting and comfortable. Waitress was helpful and attentive. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Improvements; the condiments on the table, salt, pepper, sugar packet holder were as if they were finger painted with food from the last guests. The bathroom was passable but under lit, quite dark. With more than a dozen flys visible on the inside lense. We would go back, it was good food, and I would have shared this with the owner/ manager if they had asked.

Food and service are excellent!! The restaurant is small in a nice way -- it feels both intimate and friendly, if that makes sense. We found this place last week, and enjoyed it so much that we were back this week. The service is friendly but not hovering, and the food comes out at a comfortable pace -- not rushed, but not overly slow. Four of us went the 1st time, then just my husband and me the 2nd time. For apps, we ordered saganaki and hummus both times. The saganaki both times was crispy on the outside and very tasty! The hummus comes with fresh soft pita and fresh crispy vegetables to scoop with. The hummus was also tasty and had a satisfying texture -- not overly processed. The servings were very generous. The house salad is crispy with a hint of mint, the dressing light and tangy. Between the 2 visits, we ordered chicken souvlaki, poached salmon over fettuccine alfredo, curried chicken thighs, hmmmm, I forget what my husband ordered the 1st night but I know he REALLY liked it! We all enjoyed our meals on each visit. The fettuccine alfredo was actually rather light, not the often heavy creamy kind. The chicken souvlaki was flavorful and tender, and the basmati rice it comes with uniquely flavored. I know that our guest who ordered the curried chicken thoroughly enjoyed that, but I can't give a thorough description of that. Sadly, both times, we were very full after our meals, and thus didn't have room for dessert. We'll definitely be going back again, so we'll have to save room or take some home for later!

Walked in at 11am on a Monday. Ordered the lamb gyro. Took about 15 minutes to arrive. It came with a Greek salad. Also had a water. Bill came to 13 and change. Left a 5 tip. The lamb gyro was great. The Greek salad was great. The server was great. The whole meal was outstanding. Highly recommend you visit.

First time eating there. A really cool place to get your gyro on! A little on the pricy side, but I'm not going to let a few dollars get between really good homemade food served by the owner who has a great grip on flavor and what fresh food should taste like: fresh and tasty! Good job.

I have visited Pastitsio twice now. Once a few years ago on a cold February day with my family and again more recently on a slightly less frigid February day with my friend. Both times the food has been tasty and prepared with care. Both times the restaurant was calm with few guests. The ambiance is just alright. It's a byob spot but my friend and I did not bring any alcohol. We split an order of stuffed grape leaves and then both got a wrap. I definitely enjoyed my falafel wrap and my friend loved her pulled pork wrap. I would describe the portions as modestly sized - not enormous with leftovers but enough. My friend and I had room for dessert so we had an excuse to adventure in Lawrenceville and find a dessert spot. They are supposed to have good baklava too though, so maybe I'll try them another time.

Food is amazing, the best lamb I have eaten in my life (better than any preparation I have had). Staff makes you comfortable and feel like you are at home. Everyone should be eating here regularly if you aren't already.

The food was absolutely delicious. Best lamb I've ever had. Our server was also really nice and friendly. I don't normally write reviews but I feel like not enough people know about this place.

This is, by far, some of the most amazing food I've ever eaten. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. If you can, try the pastitsio or the moussaka. Wonderful! I can't wait to share this place with more friends and family!

Our food was delicious and the proportions are amazing for the price! Our waitress, Papillon, made our experience a delight! We will come back repeatedly and always ask for her! Keep it up!
