Review Bae Bae's Kitchen - Pittsburgh

This place has some of the best Korean food I’ve known. The owner was very personable, and the seaweed salad, and kimchi were so fresh and delicious. They have earned my lifelong business. Please check this place out

The host and our waitress were both super friendly and kind. They were unfortunately out of almost everything we wanted to order, so we all ended up eating the same chicken dish (which was delicious!), but we would’ve loved to try their other menu items. Mochi dessert was ok

Amazing place. Great food and great service. My family and I went here for my 30th birthday dinner celebration and had a wonderful experience! All of the food was incredible and so tasty. The staff even brought me out some free churros for desert after my dad said it was my birthday. So kind of them to do that!

I let my children take turns picking different places to eat in the City and surrounding areas that we haven't tried yet. I've been back here three times. The aesthetic when you walk in is delightful. From the friendly wait staff to the kitchen bustling away making the most mouth-watering food. I ordered a cocktail and it was so good! The Korean fried chicken wings were gigantic and they tasted as good as they smelled. The work ethic here is top notch and I could tell the staff takes pride in what they do. For the three of us to eat and drink plus tip it was about 100.00 In my opinion it was well worth it. We will definitely go back again and again. Especially since I was so excited to eat that I never took any photos of what the food looks like so I'm definitely going to have to go back for a fourth time!

Great food, service and ambiance. I really enjoyed my spicy chicken and japchae noodles. We also got the yum yum tofu which was crispy and nice - I thought it could have either had some seasoning or maybe a bit more sauce. We also got the beef bulgogi bbq - I thought that was ok. The chicken was much better! It’s a cute space with good Korean food

Everything was wonderful! Despite being extremely busy the host was joyful and inviting. Our server was helpful and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxing. The food was perfectly cooked, fresh, and delicious. We'll definitely be back again!

Went there around 7:30 on a Friday night. Business must be good as a few things we wanted, namely the cheese wonton and japche, were already out. We were under a bit of time pressure coz we were going to the Burgh Bus around the corner at 8:45. We let them know as we saw down. As we had a big lunch, we shared a garlic noodles and beef bugolgi. Austin, our server, was super welcoming and accommodating, and made sure our food magically appeared before us all in less than 10 mins of ordering! Well now, had got ample time to enjoy the dinner and ordered some drinks to go with it as well! Austin made sure we were well taken care of. Food was delicious. Will love to try out other stuff if we come back to town.

Kitchen: It’s hard trying to search for the food you’re craving when you don’t want to drive in a busy city. I was craving Korean bbq and what I found was Bae Bae’s Kitchen. It’s small but slightly big, you’ll see what I mean. There is seating in the front as well as towards the back of this restaurant where you will also see their bar. Cute bartender with a hat, love him. Great server and good with people. Churros are pretty good, good dip, and came out piping hot. Japchae has good flavor, decent slurp-age. I will say the rice plates are a little small for the price, butt I am a fatty. Everyone who worked here was nice and efficient. I’ve been there on a busy night and a slow night. Downtown Pittsburgh is a wild ride so be prepared, especially with parking. This place was within walking distance of my hotel so I didn’t have to worry about parking. I wouldn’t mind stopping by the place again next time I am around.

Could not recommend the Chicken Buldak and Fried Chicken more! The cabbage kimchi, and the radish kimchi were also freaking delicious. Incredibly friendly staff, and the restaurant itself is just really beautiful.

Has a great early dinner here! We tried the steamed pork dumplings (phenomenal), the bbq beef bulgogi (exceptional, very flavorful), the spicy chicken dish (delicious, not super spicy), and the fried chicken as a side (it was okay but lacked the flavor that the other dishes had, not my favorite). Out waitress was so sweet and the bramble drink was delicious. My only other criticism is that the side salad doesn't come with any sort of dressing so it's just dry lettuce which isn't very fun to eat.

The food was great and the staff was friendly. The spices had potential but weren't brave enough. I had my fair share of Asian cuisine in different cities. I would give it a try again and can't wait to try the drinks. Love the appetizers and ambiance! :)

Delicious food, amazingly kind servers! We were there before the T Swift concert and they played her music and chatted with so many customers about the concert (that they were going to) and checked in to let us know we could stay as long as we liked. Great vibes!

My husband and I love Bae Bae’s! We’ve been coming since they first opened 6 years ago and the food is always consistently great (especially the Korean fried chicken and glass noodles). We love seeing Daniel at our visits and at our first trip with our baby tonight he was more than accommodating to the 3 of us. Thank you Daniel for always providing the best experience 😊

I was in Pittsburg just for one night, and the reviews for Bae Bae’s Kitchen brought me in. All I can say is wow. The Korean Fried Chicken was simply perfection! So delicious! I also enjoyed an incredible cocktail made by the wonderful bartender. Zach definitely went above and beyond and provided extraordinary service. I can’t wait to visit again!

My colleagues and I had lunch here while in town for a conference. We loved it so much we wanted to go back for dinner! The food is fresh and delicious. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I loved the decor - cute and unique. The music was a little too loud for one of our crew who has trouble hearing, but otherwise our experience was excellent!

You will love it from drinks to food. Exceptional service with great food. Korean fried chicken with plum sauce and vegetable tempura will be recommendation. Be prepared for wait times on weekends or special days.

I can’t get enough of Bae Bae’s! The food is fresh, delicious, and generously portioned. I love that there are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options even though I’m an omnivore myself. They even offer vegan milk tea! I loooove the fried tofu and the staff has always been warm and welcoming. It’s a little pricy for an everyday lunch, but absolutely worth every penny for a treat. I’ve never been disappointed and I’ve been hyping it up to everyone I know.

Wow, wow, wow! Stopped in today for the first time and was blown away by the food. I have been wanting to try Korean fried chicken for a while now and Bae Bae's did not disappoint. It was so crispy and juicy, and the spicy sauce on the side was terrific. The sweet potato tempura was also excellent. I'll be back for sure, and I'll be bringing coworkers.

Generous, thoughtful staff, delicious food, worth it to battle the parking!! Missing Los Angeles a little bit less:)

Just dropped in for a quick bite. Phenomenal! Tastes I haven’t had in Pittsburgh before. They made the space feel warm and welcoming (different from the space before), and set it up to cater to the quick business lunch crowd. Will be back for sure.

Wonderful new place in downtown Pittsburgh! We had the bulgogi and the Korean fried chicken, and they were both fantastic! Will definitely be a regular here!

Incredibly sweet and friendly staff generously dishing out amazing flavors and satisfying food and beverage. If you have not had a craving for spicy pork belly over jap char yet, it’s because you haven’t eaten here yet.

Working downtown I've tried so many restaurants, and it's easy to get bored.....But then Bae Bae's Kitchen opened, it's like a breath of fresh air!.....The service is genuinely friendly and inviting....The food is fresh and oh so tasty (they serve JapChae noodles, which I love) Do yourself a favor and stop by, you'll be glad you did!

Great food and excellent service. Some of the best chicken ever and the porkbelly is delicious!

Great addition to PGH!! Stopped in for lunch around 2 p.m and they were already sold out on most items on the menu except for a couple items! I had bulgogi (Korean BBQ) and Korean style chicken, and they were both delish! They are newly opened, and I think they are still trying to feel out the market. I certainly hope this little gem stays open bc it is not easy to find good Korean cuisine in PGH! I am very picky and discerning when it comes to Korean, and they were VERY good, including kimchi and other banchan (little side dishes). It’s definitely a 5 in my book!

I had heard a lot of positive buzz from the comedians who perform next door at Arcade Comedy Theater that Bae Bae's food was delicious and service was great. I finally got the chance to stop in for lunch last week and man, they were right. KFC, jap chae, cucumber kimchi were all super fresh, flavorful, and tasty. Great, quick service even with a bit of a line. The space couldn't be sweeter; sitting in the window withe my friend, watching people walk by and admiring all their plants was a lovely way to spend the lunch hour. Can't wait to come back.
