I can’t get enough of Bae Bae’s! The food is fresh, delicious, and generously portioned. I love that there are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options even though I’m an omnivore myself. They even offer vegan milk tea! I loooove the fried tofu and the staff has always been warm and welcoming. It’s a little pricy for an everyday lunch, but absolutely worth every penny for a treat. I’ve never been disappointed and I’ve been hyping it up to everyone I know.
Wow, wow, wow! Stopped in today for the first time and was blown away by the food. I have been wanting to try Korean fried chicken for a while now and Bae Bae's did not disappoint. It was so crispy and juicy, and the spicy sauce on the side was terrific. The sweet potato tempura was also excellent. I'll be back for sure, and I'll be bringing coworkers.
This place has some of the best Korean food I’ve known. The owner was very personable, and the seaweed salad, and kimchi were so fresh and delicious. They have earned my lifelong business. Please check this place out
The host and our waitress were both super friendly and kind. They were unfortunately out of almost everything we wanted to order, so we all ended up eating the same chicken dish (which was delicious!), but we would’ve loved to try their other menu items. Mochi dessert was ok
Amazing place. Great food and great service. My family and I went here for my 30th birthday dinner celebration and had a wonderful experience! All of the food was incredible and so tasty. The staff even brought me out some free churros for desert after my dad said it was my birthday. So kind of them to do that!
I let my children take turns picking different places to eat in the City and surrounding areas that we haven't tried yet.
I've been back here three times.
The aesthetic when you walk in is delightful.
From the friendly wait staff to the kitchen bustling away making the most mouth-watering food.
I ordered a cocktail and it was so good!
The Korean fried chicken wings were gigantic and they tasted as good as they smelled.
The work ethic here is top notch and I could tell the staff takes pride in what they do.
For the three of us to eat and drink plus tip it was about 100.00
In my opinion it was well worth it.
We will definitely go back again and again.
Especially since I was so excited to eat that I never took any photos of what the food looks like so I'm definitely going to have to go back for a fourth time!
Great food, service and ambiance. I really enjoyed my spicy chicken and japchae noodles. We also got the yum yum tofu which was crispy and nice - I thought it could have either had some seasoning or maybe a bit more sauce. We also got the beef bulgogi bbq - I thought that was ok. The chicken was much better! It’s a cute space with good Korean food
Everything was wonderful! Despite being extremely busy the host was joyful and inviting. Our server was helpful and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxing. The food was perfectly cooked, fresh, and delicious. We'll definitely be back again!
Went there around 7:30 on a Friday night. Business must be good as a few things we wanted, namely the cheese wonton and japche, were already out.
We were under a bit of time pressure coz we were going to the Burgh Bus around the corner at 8:45. We let them know as we saw down. As we had a big lunch, we shared a garlic noodles and beef bugolgi. Austin, our server, was super welcoming and accommodating, and made sure our food magically appeared before us all in less than 10 mins of ordering!
Well now, had got ample time to enjoy the dinner and ordered some drinks to go with it as well!
Austin made sure we were well taken care of. Food was delicious. Will love to try out other stuff if we come back to town.
Kitchen: It’s hard trying to search for the food you’re craving when you don’t want to drive in a busy city. I was craving Korean bbq and what I found was Bae Bae’s Kitchen. It’s small but slightly big, you’ll see what I mean. There is seating in the front as well as towards the back of this restaurant where you will also see their bar. Cute bartender with a hat, love him. Great server and good with people. Churros are pretty good, good dip, and came out piping hot. Japchae has good flavor, decent slurp-age. I will say the rice plates are a little small for the price, butt I am a fatty. Everyone who worked here was nice and efficient. I’ve been there on a busy night and a slow night. Downtown Pittsburgh is a wild ride so be prepared, especially with parking. This place was within walking distance of my hotel so I didn’t have to worry about parking. I wouldn’t mind stopping by the place again next time I am around.
Could not recommend the Chicken Buldak and Fried Chicken more! The cabbage kimchi, and the radish kimchi were also freaking delicious. Incredibly friendly staff, and the restaurant itself is just really beautiful.
Has a great early dinner here! We tried the steamed pork dumplings (phenomenal), the bbq beef bulgogi (exceptional, very flavorful), the spicy chicken dish (delicious, not super spicy), and the fried chicken as a side (it was okay but lacked the flavor that the other dishes had, not my favorite). Out waitress was so sweet and the bramble drink was delicious. My only other criticism is that the side salad doesn't come with any sort of dressing so it's just dry lettuce which isn't very fun to eat.
