My husband and I have come hear every time we're in the area. It is always fantastic in every way. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is beyond compare! His favorite is the lemon tartlette. I always get one of the mega macarons and am never disappointed.

As close to Parisian quality desserts without going to Paris.

Price per square foot. If you're not willing to pay the price for the sweet treats (which are beautiful and delicious) then consider the baguette. Cheapest item in the bakery if you go by square footage costs. And also very good. Not as pretty as the macarons, but you can feel French as you stroll down the (Forbes) avenue with a loaf of bread under your arm. Excusez-moi, votre bras.

Don't believe the negative reviews. This place is amazing. Finally Sq. hill got one place where you can get good dessert. Yes, its not the cheapest place, but you don't go there every day. Their eclairs are the best I ever tried in USA. Their macaroons are delicios. Go there at least ones and you won't regret it

Delicious and exotic. Walking into Gaby et Jules I was immediately captivated by the pastries. They looked absolutely beautiful. All of the different shapes, colors and textures. Not only was there a variety, but each one looks absolutely perfect. I had to stop wondering how it was possible to make these and start figuring out which one I wanted to eat, otherwise I might have stood there all day. I was a little intimidated by the descriptions. I wish I had brushed up on my French and maybe brought along a dictionary of pastry terms. After reading all of the cards, I realized, how can I go wrong as long as it looks like chocolate and doesn't have something I don't like as an ingredient.
I finally chose 2. One was a long rectangle covered in glistening chocolate. Inside was a delicate cake surrounded by mousse with just a hint of a crunch.
The second was cylinder of chocolate mousse with a Carmel filling. They were Bo the kind of food you ate with very small bites, savoring each morsel and trying to identify all of the shuttle favors and textures.

Don't believe the negative reviews! Although I prefer airier macarons, the pastries have complex flavors and are well worth the price. I would have paid more!

My Favorist treat of all time, "The Macaroon." Only the original ones made with ONLY Almond flour! Nothing else compares... Gaby et Jules Patisseries was exquisite and truly a French patisserie. Everything was baked to perfection. The staff were very welcoming. A very exciting feature to be aware of if you reside in the Pittsburgh area. It is to bring the red box back for future purchases, and you will receive a discount on future purchases of macaroons. I would be there weekly!!

Wanted a little bit of France in Pittsburgh and I got it. The almond croissant was pretty close to my favorite Parisian go to. Instant mood lifter ✨ Blueberry Hibiscus Tea from Five Points bakery (they had one lonely plain croissant when I attempted to try them first, happy I saved my sweet tooth for Gaby et Jules)!

Not pictured are the best macarons I've had in a long time. They were eaten before a photo was able to be taken. The pastries are absolutely gorgeous to look at and taste fantastic. A definite stop when you're in the neighborhood. They even have a deal that if you bring back the box that your macarons come in you get a discount with the next box. Legit French pastries.

The ambiance, with its tasteful decor, whispers of chic Parisian sophistication. The quality of their offerings is unwaveringly superb, with each visit ensuring a symphony of flavors that dance delicately on the palate. Coupled with warm, impeccable service, this patisserie remains a beacon of gourmet excellence, a must-visit for connoisseurs and casual enthusiasts alike.

Stumbled upon this bakery by accident, best find ever. Everything was so beautiful. The pastries were too pretty to eat, until you taste them and then you realize that they're too delicious to stop. The woman answered all of our questions. I have never had such delicious pastries. The basil white chocolate macaroon was unbelievable. If this is what French pastries are like then viva la France!!

Definitely high quality items sold here. It's one of the few French bakeries in the area, and it seems truly authentic. If you know French food, you know it'll be more expensive than the other baked goods. But, I still think it is worth it, and the prices aren't outrageous either. I wanted to try a classic French baked good: the pain au chocolat, other wise known as a croissant with chocolate. The pain au chocolate had a nice, flaky outer shell. It was buttery and quite delicious. It think they make great croissants in general. Good amount of high quality chocolate. And, for a few dollars, it's not a bad deal. I only tried this classic, but I'm excited to come back and try out a few other items as well. They have sweeter and more pastry-like items as well as French classics like quiches, baguettes, macarons, and much more. Definitely a solid place I'd recommend.

Their croissant, almond croissants, pain au chocolat, croissant with ham and cheese, and chouquettes are to die for. All 10/10 and delicious. First time I ever had a high quality French pastry. Now I am craving them and need to get more. Price is also reasonable considering the quality. Will be coming back again
