Our server, Praneeth is very kind and attentive. I LOVED the buffet. Everything was very fresh and extremely tasty. I don’t know very much about Indian cuisine, but I felt welcome here and it was approachable. There were helpful signs describing the options. Can’t wait to come back!

I tried the buffet here and was very pleased with the variety of the food offered. 20 or so dishes on offer, including standbys and some I'd never had before. All were very tasty and I was so pleased to see a child's option as well, which they added in the last 2 months according to the staff. I will be back especially because of the children's option!

It was our first time here at Taj Mahal, and we absolutely enjoyed not only the delicious food, but also the friendly staff. My husband enjoyed eating his Shrimp kebab and I enjoyed my curry chicken tika masala. Thank you, chef Javad, for cooking such delicious food.

Great “home cooked” style food with almost no floating oil !! Main dishes in the buffet were cooked to perfection–not too spicy. Deserts were awesome as well–not to sweet and well prepared. Staff was polite and service was quick. Our favorite joint in the Pittsburgh area.

#1 Indian Restaurant in Pittsburgh! Amazing food and staff. Extensive vegetarian menu. If you are a new-comer, expect to become a regular. Everyone is family here. Things to try: fried appetizers, any of the curries, and special Indian desserts. And they offer spice levels for everyone, from zero to ten.

My recent experience at Taj Mahal hotel was nothing short of extraordinary, blending exquisite dining with exceptional service. The ambiance added to the overall experience, creating a perfect setting for a memorable evening. What truly elevated my experience was the impeccable service provided by Ahmed the dedicated staff member who assisted us throughout the evening. Ahmed's offering insightful recommendations and ensuring every aspect of our dining experience was flawless. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction were truly commendable. The food itself was a revelation—fresh, flavorful, and presented with artistic flair. This place is highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a culinary adventure accompanied by top-notch service.

This place is good. I will come again and again. Enjoyed the buffet with a pal, enjoyed the buffet with a pal... Feeling funny though after the meal.. but in a good way if that makes sense.. I love the way Indian food tastes.. my tongue is dancing.. so I open my mouth to let it free.. because my tongue needs more room to dance.. my taste buds are smiling.. all of them.. not just some .. I've left the restaurant at this point .. but the taste of India has not left me.. and I don't think it ever will. A hunger has been embedded within me that will never be satisfied by another.. I'm no longer human.. I have become something else entirely..

Best Indian food in the Pittsburgh area. Seriously id lick the floor of this place if it had curry sauce on it. Omg the mango ice cream they pass around during the buffet is AMAAAAZING. Everything is amazing here. Can't go wrong with anything.
