This place is great! Local small batch. I got double dark chocolate chunk! The darker and richer the better, and this stuff really stacked up! Check it out when you’re in Oakland.

Dave and Andy’s has some of the best ice cream in Pittsburgh. I really enjoyed my visit here and I think you will too. I had the cantaloupe sorbet. And it was excellent. I really like that they also have non dairy options here. Between the ice cream, yogurt, and sorbet, there is something for everyone. Gmr

Homemade ice cream!! A Pittsburgh institution. Super thin slice of a space w a few chairs and stools. Ice cream cakes can be made to order. They have waffle, sugar and cake cones. Also a few sf/low fat options. Smells heavenly

This place is tied with Page's as my favorite ice cream in Pittsburgh! Always great flavors, which are ever-changing, and we love the m&m in the bottom of the cone. Never a bad experience here! Super sweet staff, too.

Honestly the best homemade ice cream in Pittsburgh. A small shop in the heart of Oakland with a wide range of flavors and a welcoming vibe. My highlight is the butter pecan ice cream, a creamy and tasty treat that has no added sugar.

Amazing!! I got the birthday cake and you can tell that the cake is either fresh or not made stale then added into the ice cream.. if that makes sense. Haha. I really enjoyed it and I think the price was pretty reasonable for two people. Especially in the area that it is in. Would go back!
