We love going to the square cafe on a Saturday morning. I enjoy getting a coffee because they have the best big mugs for drinking. My husband got a Bloody Mary and it was delicious. I got the chive biscuit sandwich and would definitely recommend it. My husband got the corn beef bene and it was also a great choice. We enjoy trying different things on their menu every time we go. Just a head up, there is usually a short wait!

Good coffee and very good service for breakfast with my family one weekday morning. No wait for a table! Love the huge mugs, but be careful when asking for a refill. It's a lot of coffee! Corned beef over my eggs benedict was very well seasoned - loved it! Hollandaise sauce held and the eggs were perfectly cooked. This meal needed a knife; get your napkins out and dig in.

Gluten free pancake is delicious! The blueberry compote on top compliments it quite nicely. Vegan biscuit sandwich and veggie omelette are also very good.

A great place for breakfast. I am vegan and my partner is not but we both found something we loved. The vegan breakfast sandwich was delicious and very filling. It was also a cute atmosphere and they sell ceramic coffee mugs. Would definitely stop again if back in town!

A good place to hangout with friends. But I’m not recommend the Belgian waffle, it is not the real Belgian waffle (no peral sugar, the way they make as same as American waffle)

We had to wait quite a while because there was a long line out the door. They stop taking reservations at 9 am. The cafe is really cute & the staff was very nice. They sell these cool handmade coffee mugs. At $30, I thought they were a bit over-priced. Had they been a little cheaper, I would have bought one. It did take a long time to get our food, but, like I said, they were very busy. The food, when we finally got it, was absolutely worth the wait. Everyone in my party, (there were 5 of us) agreed that the food was amazing! I will definitely go there again with my husband, and will remember to make a reservation so we won't have to wait in that long line.

Wow, yum! So delicious and well worth the drive out of our direction to have breakfast. The coffee is excellent and order the 12 ounce just to get the unique mugs! Half of the fun of dining out is atmosphere and they really are on point in that category. Between the mugs, artwork and adornment, it is hard not to enjoy being there for the artistic value alone. That being said, the food was great. Plenty of vegan options, which is very appreciated. They also offered gluten free on the menu as well. I was sad to only have the appetite for one entree because everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. My vegan Brussels Sprouts Hash was perfect…ask for hot sauce if you like things spicy, they will hook you up. The owner closed down her Regent Square location to take a chance in a new neighborhood, and during Covid too, and the gamble paid off. It was a weekday mid morning when we went and they were nearly full. I hear the weekends are packed, so keep that in mind when venturing out. Certainly well worth a wait though!

Every time I'm in east liberty, I make a point of stopping at Square for brunch. Hands down, they have the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. The fact that it's vegan too? Phenomenal. The service is always top tier, the wait on food is nonexistent. I highly recommend the chive biscuit, it melts in your mouth and has exquisite flavor.

Yummy! 😋 We visited the Square Cafe for breakfast this weekend for the first time and our experience was phenomenal from the hostess, to the wait staff, as well as the food; everything was dynamic! We ordered the banana foster waffles, another guest ordered the corn beef breakfast and I ordered the one pancake, egg and protein option. They were lots of vegan options on the menu and everything we ordered was served fresh, hot and was delicious. We would certainly come back and recommend it to anyone else looking for a great breakfast spot in the area. We also loved the hip decor and artwork throughout the café. Purchased a cool coffee mug for about $22. Good stuff.
