My coworker and I decided to stop by here after a business meeting and it was pretty good!! Everyone is right, it is SUPER BUSY! All the tables were full in a matter of minutes! Luckily we didn't have to wait more than a couple minutes. The food was delicious (we both got the french dip) and they sent us home with a drink to go! We will definitely come back here the next time we are in Pittsburg!
Always a pleasure. Great prices and portions. I've never left this place unhappy. The only thing I would ask for is that they add french fries to the menu. Try their creamy Italian dressing. It is amazing.
What they have is great. The food here is excellent and the prices are low. The soups and sandwiches wonderful. The only negative is the lack of sides. I'm not a fan of salted chips.
I eat here at least once a week, one of the best places in Pittsburg! The charbroiled chicken breast is amazing, you have to try it!
The French Dip. The Mall Deli has great service, reasonable prices, and a great atmosphere, but the thing i like the most is the french dip. Nothing says lunch like the french dip. Dipping it in the stuff that they give you and creamy Italian will send your taste buds on a journey.
Great Deli. I have eaten at the Mall Deli for years. The service is always great and the prices as well. When family is visiting from out of town, that's the place they want to go for lunch. Keep up the good work!!
A Must Stop. This is by far the best deli I've ever been too. The only thing more surprising than how good the food tastes is how low the prices are. A sandwich and chips with their amazing homemade creamy Italian is under $5. So far I've tried all of the sandwiches except for the Combo (the only one that costs $8), and they've all been great. My favorite is the Reuben.

Old reliable. I have been eating at the Deli for a huge chunk of my life. That's a good thing and a bad thing. The good news is, the service is always fabulous, the food is always fresh and consistent, and I can honestly say I don't know that I've ever walked away after having a bad meal.
On the downside, the menu has remained largely unchanged for a decade. I'm a progressive kind of guy. While I can appreciate the consistency and the success they've had, I'd love to see some updates to the menu. Maybe daily specials that aren't part of the regular menu. Just something to get me excited to go eat there again.
Great food and great prices. They are a landmark in Pittsburg. Nothing fancy, just good sandwiches, made to order, and good service. You have to try the cheese bagels dipped in the creamy italian dressing. Excellent! The only complaint isn't with the restaurant, but the water in Pittsburg. If you're not from the area and used to the taste, order something with flavoring (soda, tea, etc) to help mask it.
First time there,I heard they have been there for awhile,I had a sub sandwich, meat was fresh,bread was soft,the rueben..sandwich was good,nice amount of meat and that creamy Italian sauce 👌 👏
The Mall Deli is a Pittsburg tradition with good reason. It offers first class service, food, cleanliness, and staff.
I have never received a bad meal or service at the Mall Deli in the 40 plus years I have had the pleasure to enjoy a meal there. Prices have always been a bargain for the quality and quantity of food your receive.
While they have many phenomenal sandwiches, soups, etc.; My favorite has always been the Chef Salad. An easy two meals worth of lettuce, ham, turkey, and cheese topped with a deviled egg half.
The French Dip and other sandwiches are infamous for addictive reasons. The list is too large to post here.

This is everyone's favorite little place to eat. There is no way someone couldn't find something they love, everything is delicious! It's always very clean, very quick service and very friendly staff. If you haven't eaten at Mall Deli then I would suggest trying it your next time eating out!
What could you possibly complain about just as it's always been a true value. Best sandwiches I've eaten out period. No other deli in this price point compares. And yes they serve Pepsi. Always a treat at the Mall Deli so if in town for passing through do yourself a favor and stop here if no where else and try the French dip it never disappoints! Keep up the Amazing work Mall Deli a real gem.

Waitress was attentive and very little wait. I would recommend if your not a big chip eater tell them to cut it down, they send ALOT with the sandwiches and they always go to waste😫
Extremely fast and delicious. While you're waiting for your order there are crackers with creamy Italian dressing to snack on. The menu has a good variety and is very affordable. My plate was clean, and they aren't small portions, so I definitely enjoyed it!
The service was fantastic! The reuben was delish with marbled rye and dressing on the side. Great place to stop and eat!
Love the food. Anything I have eaten there was great. My Mother loved the Chili-no beans. Every time We are in P-burg we stop there no matter what time.
