Waffle House

We were in there tonight between 7 and 8 pm, just my daughter and I. They only had maybe 8 people total and 2 were waiting on takeout. There were oy two waitresses and the wonderful cook! We weren't given menus and the brown haired lady had a crummy attitude. We waited at least five minutes to be acknowledged, and the brown haired lady just said what would you like. The other girl brought us drinks and silverware after I asked her to wipe the nasty table off please again. She was apparently new, didn't know if they serve milk in cups or bottles, but she was nice enough. When we got our food, it was wonderful, and the cook checked on us throughout our meal. The waitresses didn't. My daughter ran out of milk and they stayed at the other end of the store and didn't even ask if she wanted more. Mind you, her milk was empty by the time we received our food. Even when the store was empty except for us,the cook was still the only one asking if we were good, and gave my daughter 2 extra pieces of bacon., so he didn't have to throw it away. He was kind, and the only one who seemed to care and was in a good mood. The waitresses were slow, disinterested, and looked and acted truly unhappy to be there.

We left the restaurant across the street after being neglected half an hour last night! Our waitress at Waffle House, Pinson, AL was AMAZING! Greeted as soon as we made it in the door! We barely got seated when she brought our drinks! Hubby, 2 grands, and I said Waffle House was the best part of our day! Our waitress gave excellent service!

I enjoy our waffle House food. For the most part I'm usually satisfied with everything. But this morning when I got breakfast for my entire family in the bag for the waffles and I'm still waiting on my daughter to go to the grocery store and get some syrup. So I guess I'm going to end up eating my waffles with jelly because I've got a hungry headache and it's going to be dinner time in a while.

This group of people, are a blast to deal with! Got a old guy with long, long bushy eyebrows, that hits on your woman everytime we go in. Got one guy that will splash soap suds in your coffee, if you sit by the sink. One black girl, that is freaking super to deal with! She's the best, but the funny white girl that usually waits on us, frightened us the last time we where there. Her head would spin on her shoulders while she was speaking in tongues, but she's so sweet! Keep up the good work guys, your all awesome!

The food is decent. Typical breakfast items usually I go early in the morning after work since I work 3rd shift and it's empty. Tried to stop in last night and the parking lot was full of cars and someone mentioned something about a reddit laser like would be attached to a gun so I got back in the van and left.

There was only one waitress whom suppoisdly kept going to the bathroom to throw up. Every table was full of dirty dishes. It was late at night I saw no reason there shouldn't be at least one clean table. The cook was great though and we got take out and it was phenomenal! They just need some good waitresses. I've waited tables at 3 restraunts and even if you are having to work sick you never announce that to your customers!
