My wife and I stumbled upon Frank and Lupe's and glad we did so. We've been trying to find a. Good Mexican Restaurant since moving to Arizona, this will now be our go to place. Arrived at 8:22 not realizing they closed at 8:30. They sat us immediately and treated us no different if we got there at 6:00. Efron our waiter was great, food was authentic and fresh.Restaurant was immaculate Defiantly worth your time.
When I dropped by around 3:30 pm today, I was greeted by ivona Maria (not sure how to spell her first name properly) and recommend some of the great food here. I gotta give her and her coworkers great service. Willing to come back to the near future. Thanks to frank and lupe's for the fantastic service
HOLY MOLE!!!!!!!!!!!! FIRST TIME THERE, OUTSTANDING!! NOTHING YOU HAVE TASTED BEFORE!!! THERE IS THIS SAUCE CALLED POBLANO SOMETHING....IT IS PART OF THIS CHICKEN ENCHILADA MEAL BUT ASK FOR THE SAUCE AND IT TASTE AMAZING ON EVERYTHING!!! I ATE SHRIMP AND STEAK FAJITAS AND POURED THAT SAUCE ALL OVER IT!!!!!! THE TORTILLAS WERE NOTHING I EVER TASTED, AND TRUST ME I EAT MEXICAN FOOD ALL THE TIME, THESE WERE BETTER THAN MY NANAS!!!!!!!! HUGO WAS OUR SERVER AND KNEW EVERYTHING ABOUT THE RESTAURANT, HE WAS EXACTLY WHAT A SERVER SHOULD CONSIST OF!!! HANDSOME TOO!!!!! GO BENICO!!! LMAO!! EAT THERE!! LOVE IT!!! Definitely a place for great lunch or dinner. Very nice ambiance, new patio and great selection of ice cold beverages 🌶️🌮🍺🍹
After reading the reviews on this place my husband and I decided to give it a try. The good out weighed the bad.
The restaurant has an odor when you first walk in. Smells like a dirty wet mop. The salsa is like a liquid and wasn’t very good with our chips.
On the plus side. Our service was speedy and our waitress was very pleasant. The food was delicious and had a great flavor. We didn’t participate in happy hour. However, we did look over that menu and they have some great deals. We will go back again.
The chips and salsa was very good, the salsa has a kick to it. The food was excellent. I ordered number 24 fajita burrito.
The service was so-so. For not being very busy on a Saturday night, we expected more and better service. I give it 3 and a half stars. I will go back. The food is good but the service really needs to step up for this Restaurant to survive.
We had a client appreciation event last night and everything was amazing! Freddy and everyone on his team was great and so helpful. They did a beautiful buffet and everyone LOVED the food! They even rearranged furniture and tables for us so our guests would have more room to mingle. Can't wait to go back!
We went for happy hour. Half price appetizers. Ceviche was excellent! We also had a cheese crisp (size of a large pizza!) and Nachos supreme. Margaritas were tasty but they don't have frozen ones. Wonderful service and food! We are now regulars there and truly enjoy it.
Great food, great environment, great service! We love the location in Scottsdale but the new location is closer to home, and they didn’t disappoint! The poblano cream enchiladas and mole can’t be beat, margaritas are tasty, and fried ice cream end a great meal. It was nice to see a familiar face from the Scottsdale location, thanks for taking great care of us Freddie! Love supporting this local, family owned restaurant!.
I have eaten there more than a few times, I have enjoyed the food and service. I have had a few dishes some I order more often than others but its all good and with the right amount of spice. I hope this place gets established here its one of the few places i like for Mexican food. I hope the location doesn't hurt the business. I also the location in Scottsdale.
