Great little place to grab exactly what the title says, cold beer and cheeseburger. First time I went and was pleasantly surprised. Great selection of beers and food is decent.
I was out and about late at night and wanted to watch the basketball game. I had just eaten across the street and saw this place. It was not busy and I was seated right away. Not every spot in the the place has a good view. I was seated under TVs with the game on. I asked to move but they said I had to sit there or go to the bar. I decided to stay and watch golf. Kind of disappointed. I got the burger with onion, cheese, and fried tomatoes. It was amazing. The tater tots were cooked to perfection. The waitress always came by to check on me and it was great. The only reason for 4 stars was because of the view
Seems pretty basic and then you bite into the burger. It's not Nirvana but close.
Given that my wife is a vegan, a place called Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers doesn’t have a super appealing ring to it for us while driving by; but, something caused us to come in during the World Series, and we’ve now been back with some regularity thanks to the fantastic service and good food.
Starting with the complicated salad order my wife asked for, and having our server remember that same complicated order several days later on our next visit cemented our desire to regularly return.
Plus, the Asian chicken salad may be one of my favorite salads from anywhere!
This place is well run, with employees who care, and the food is great. What's not to love?!
Let me start by saying our server Jess was attentive, informative,and friendly. The environment is amazing. Great location to watch any sport.Tons of beers on draft,and plenty of drink options for everyone. The soft pretzel was outstanding. The juicy Lucy burger is a flavor explosion,and lastly the tater tots are incredible. This was my first visit to CBCB,and it won't be my last 😃

Food was good overall, my burger was supposed to be 'red' but was med well to well done. It was still good. My friends turkey burger was excellently prepared. Place was quite noisy between the customer chatter and music playing too loud. Our wait person Courtney S was excellent. My advice...reduce the ambient noise, which made it difficult to talk and our wait person had trouble hearing our order and the cooks on the kitchen should know the difference between rare and well done on the burgers. We would go back based on the overall food prep but my guest said if we came back that he would have to be prepared in advance for the amount of noise generated in the restaurant. I ordered cheese sticks as an appetizer. The portion was generous (but expensive at more than $10) and the side of marinara was slightly burnt. Pricing was good for the main dishes but the appetizers or starters were very expensive overall (hummus and veggies were over $10), really??? Staff was very good to excellent, orders were processed fairly quickly but pricing was uneven. Nearly all appetizers were overpriced. We paid about $55 with tip for one appetizer, and two burgers and water.
This place is our go to every other week.
Beer list is great, the atmosphere is excellent. The burgers are good, fried pickles are amazing, wife loves the Mac and cheese.
Definitely recommend, special shout out to Rylee who somehow remembers the beers we get!
First time at this VERRADO location. Served by Debra. Great service. Food was fresh. I tried the Cobb salad and the wings. Very tasty. Highly recommend this location. Come early, parking bit limited due to construction.
Supurb service. Server Jess put up with my eccentric low blood sugar antics while trying to figure out what to eat. The fries were delicious without salt, and the build your own Burger was tasty and filling. I ate it so fast I forgot to take a picture. The atmosphere is a typical bar vibe. The price was a little bit on the high side, but not surprising considering that it's in the Scottsdale area.
Wilted, brown lettuce, burnt bacon, and the avocado was super bruised on my Greyhawk Club. I don't even know how that was allowed to leave the line. Plus there was some sort of blue plastic on my lettuce. Being pregnant I was craving a sandwich really bad but after seeing this I didn't even want to eat it. At least I got an order of sweet potato tots, they were delicious. They had some sort of seasoning on them, gave them some of spicy flavor. Best sweet potato tots I've had.
